Summer Ellis Jewelry, Yellow Box shoes, Mystree, Flying Tomato, Urban Mango, Circle E Candles, Fredericksburg Farms, Sweet Shop USA, and much more! In a challenging economic environment, this mom and daughter team, along with the help of many fabulous employees, has stayed strong due to their customer service, eventful marketing strategies and unique goods and services that aren’t available in the area. “Our motto in this store is: ‘Love All. Serve All’,” says Gina Angelo, Brickwood Owner. “Without people walking
through our door, we don’t have a business, therefore, they are our number one priority!” Misty Norwood, a long-time customer, says, “Every time I come to Brickwood, I feel so welcome, the girls are so sweet, and I always leave with a smile on my face! I am constantly sending people to Brickwood because I always get compliments on my Brickwood clothes!” Whether you are shopping for a gift, looking to buy a cute outfit, or just need to listen to the uplifting, inspirational music
playing in the store, Brickwood is the place to go. Last summer, Brickwood doubled in size with the addition of a new women’s boutique, and the “Brickwood Baby” boutique. Baby Registry
is available, and you can now visit their second location in Belton, at The Gin.

The Bell County Museum is proud to present Memories of World War II: Photographs from the Archives of The Associated Press, opened Saturday, June 25, 2011 and run through August 21, 2011. The Associated Press exhibit is a spectrum of 126 photos from all theaters of the war and the home front, ranging from AP photographer Joe Rosenthal’s classic Iwo Jima flag raising in 1945 to scores of pictures not seen in decades. In the exhibit, familiar scenes of Japan’s attack on Pearl Harbor, along with British and American troops hitting Normandy beaches on D-Day and marching through newly liberated Paris, are juxtaposed with hidden surprises sure to evoke strong memories among older Americans. The photos are personal history relived for those who fought the war and millions more for whom it was part of their lives. For many millions more, the postwar generations, who know the war only as distant history these images will serve as the record of a shared and shaping era in our nation’s history. The showing here in Bell County Museum is part of a national tour that began in 2005. The exhibition of 126 photographic reproductions from the Associated Press has traveled to more than twenty museums and will continue to travel through 2013.

This 3.5 Million Dollar Marble Falls House is influenced by European designs with a true Hill Country flair. Marcus Mohon of Mohon – Imber Interiors states,” There is nothing formal about the arrangement of this house. Because on the lake in this kind of an environment we want everyone to use every room and sit in every space. “ The dining room is definitely the center of the house with large openings to the Kitchen, Family Room entrance, and French doors that open to an outdoor dining courtyard. Ikea furnishings and cabinetry were used through out the house mixed with designer interior pieces. The Family room has large automatic sliding French pocket doors that open to reveal a grand courtyard terrace and pool. The master bedroom is elegant with a beautiful terrace to relax and a crisp white refreshing master bath. Riverbend Fine Art locally owned by Marta Stafford, contributed some of the fine art that decorated the four bedrooms and five and a half bath house. Courtyards, Terraces, Garden Courtyard, Dining Courtyard, pool, boat dock describe all the amazing outdoor extensions of this house that may be used for entertaining or relaxation. Beautiful ceilings and floors, cut out doorways and master shower, lighting, flower room, custom armoire coat closet and of course the outdoor areas are just a few of the finer details to look for when you tour. “Most of all at the lake it’s creating an atmosphere where relaxation meets romance. ”- Marcus Mohon Southern Living Idea House 2011 In Horseshoe Bay, Texas opened to the public for touring July 4 thru October 2, 2011.
