HIGHPOINT CIRCLE

When the principals of construction leader, Asa Carlton, Inc started to outgrow their Buford, Georgia office, they knew they’d really prefer to build a new Headquarters. More well known for their cutting-edge interior retail designs and build-outs, the group wanted a home that reflected the company’s diversity. Working heavily in the medical industry, it was fitting that a tract of land at the corners of Old Winder Hwy, Thompson Mill Road, and Friendship Road near Northeast Georgia Medical Center, Braselton, was available.

“We knew we didn’t want to go further south, into the traffic,” said principals Scott Hester and Brannon Floyd. “We searched for some time and were thrilled to find a ready-to-build property, zoned perfectly for our needs, right in the heart of Braselton’s growing business and medical district.”

Asa Carlton will build three beautiful, technically advanced, two-story office buildings on the property they now call Highpoint Circle. Situated on an ample knoll, walking distance from restaurants and other businesses, the sleek new brick and metal buildings will have panoramic views, most notably of the Appalachian foothills.

“We are excited for the incredible opportunity that our new location at Highpoint Circle will bring,” said Greg Swinks, the firm’s Vice President. “We are anxious to showcase the exponential growth we’ve experienced, and we really feel the new headquarters will be evidence of our capabilities and diversity as a company,” Swinks explained. Additionally, Swinks expressed how integral the headquarters will be to recruitment of new talent, bringing more jobs to the area.

Of Asa Carlton’s 200+ employees, approximately 50 will initially occupy Highpoint Circle with the number expanding by another 50% in the near future. The employees will enjoy a progressive and elegant work environment when the company takes occupancy of one of the three buildings planned for the site. The campus will boast generous green spaces and parking. The two additional buildings flanking Asa Carlton’s headquarters will be available for lease.

“I was thrilled when Asa Carlton agreed to consider property in Braselton. Highpoint Circle fit all of their requirements from a central location and nearby restaurants, to the need for easy access to I-85, I-985, Friendship Road, and Hwy 211,” said Asa Carlton’s Real Estate Broker for Highpoint Circle, Ben Harrison, owner of Sun Realty Group. “This area has become a prime spot for business and medical, highly desired for its proximity to Atlanta, Lake Lanier and the North Georgia Mountains,” Harrison explained. “A central location for the employees travelling from Cumming, Buford, Athens, Lawrenceville, and Gainesville, was number one on Asa Carlton’s list and this Braselton property fit the need. The location couldn’t be more perfect,” Harrison said.

Braselton’s well noted and beloved “Life Path”, a paved urban trail of sorts, provides safe space for people to walk, exercise, bike, and golf cart to area businesses. The Highpoint Circle campus will be right off the Life Path. Nearby, along with NEGMC, is Northside Hospital, Longstreet Clinic, Northeast Diagnostic, Chick-Fil-A, Arby’s, Moe’s, Starbucks and Longhorn Steakhouse, among others.

“Highpoint Circle will be a tremendous asset to the growing business and medical district here in Braselton,” Harrison explained.
