Philippines has been continuously shaken by the threat of pandemic in all aspects of life. One vital thing that deserves our attention now is the plan on making education still possible despite the current situation. In the Philippines, while the government and health officials are trying to flatten the epidemiological curve of the deadly virus, the Department of Education (DepEd) is doing its best to transition the modality of teaching from conventional “face-to-face” learning, or the traditional "brickand-mortar schools” to so-called “blended learning.” This is now the new trend of learning that the education sector tries to embrace as a solution to the problem brought by the pandemic in the academe.#
