Tweed Coast
THE TWEED COAST COVERS DURANBAH BEACH IN TWEED HEADS TO WOOYUNG BEACH, POTTSVILLE. THE CROWNING HEADLANDS ARE FINGAL, CABARITA BEACH AND HASTINGS POINT. TWEED HEADS Tweed Heads is a vibrant seaside destination by the beautiful Tweed River estuary. Tweed Valley
THE TWEED VALLEY IS NESTLED IN THE ANCIENT GREEN CALDERA, THE LARGEST SHIELD VOLCANO IN THE SOUTHERN HEMISPHERE.
TWEED VALLEY The valley is set amongst world heritage rainforests with dramatic mountain ranges, rich red volcanic soil and open green spaces. Wollumbin Mount Warning is the heart of the valley and is the first place to see the sunlight on the east coast of Australia. 12
MURWILLUMBAH The main town centre of the Tweed Valley is Murwillumbah, offering an abundance of historic charm. TUMBULGUM Arching around the shoulders of the river, Tumbulgum is where The Tweed and Rous Rivers intersect, and is said to take its name from a local Indigenous word for ‘meeting of the waters’. This is a village ideal for team building, enjoying the many parks through health and wellness activities, sampling a variety of eateries and relaxing on a riverboat cruise (not to mention a local distillery to celebrate a successful event). 14
