Letter From the Editor This is the first issue of “Volume 2” of The Unexposed magazine. We are still the same magazine, with only a few minor changes. For example, we have asked each artist to provide an artist statement to publish alongside their work. This way the artist is able to explain their work in their own words, providing the viewer with a more personal understanding and experience. In this issue, artists were asked to explore the theme of “Secrets.” As always, our contributors are a diverse and incredibly talented group of people. I hope that in reading this issue you will discover some incredible new talent/artwork… after all, these artists won’t remain a “secret” for too long...

A found photograph contains so many secrets. They hide them away in their surfaces, in their faces and smiles. Hopes, desires, intentions - all are and mysteries. ‘Amendment’ is the result of imagined secrets within vintage portrait postcards. Combining digital and analogue techniques to create around the individual, attempting to give them a new meaning and a new life - whilst never fully being able to uncover or complete the mystery

Some experts have described dreams as a way for our brains to excrete the millions of stimuli cast aside by our brains throughout everyday life. All secrets are inside the person and only for himself. Everyone tremulously saves their secrets inside, showing only a tiny hint to public. The goal of these photographs is not to show secrets of people. The goal is to show that secrets exist inside the person, and primarily to present how people express their feelings about their secrets.
