Ican totally relate to Summer Walker’s lyrics in her hit single “Unloyal.” These lyrics are now my anthem for 2022. In this song Walker is interestingly speaking about to her boyfriend, but for me I am speaking to anyone who think they can bring their negative energy into my space!”

Last year did something to me. It wasn’t a good thing or a bad thing. It was a change that heightened my awareness of how important it was to maintain healthy relationships. It made me evaluate the quality of relationships I had formed. It made me evaluate how I was showing up in my inner circle and how those people were showing up for me. It made me understand that I needed to get back on my grind and finished the goals I set for myself. Losing my mother made me question my own mortality and immortality.

I figured out that my WOES started in 019 but I was able to camouflage my stress through my representative. I guess one can assess that I was in a slump, kinda of like Steph Curry missing 3’s! LOL! Nevertheless, I had a huge amount of stress and did a poor job by my standards in handling it. However, things have changed, and I am now finding my “Hope Again!”

None of us are immune to LIFE! LIFE is going to show up and most of us aren’t ready! I mean things are going to happen to ALL of us that may knock us off our feet. In the words of Les Brown, “If you fall down try to land on your back, because if you can look up, you can get up!” I got up in 2022, just like that and I am ready to get back in the game! Don’t’ let people fool you into thinking they always have it all together because “they, we, or you” don’t!

“Finding You” doesn’t start at the New Year. “Finding You” starts the moment you realize that you don’t have to take no “ish” off of anybody! PERIOD!
