Day 1: Ottawa, Ontario, Canada (D) Welcome aboard with The Upper Class as you celebrate the 61st Anniversary of the Ottawa Tulip Festival, the world’s largest Tulip Festival. Witness stunning architecture set as the backdrop of nearly three million tulips in Canada’s capital city. On arrival in Ottawa, you’ll check into the Lord Elgin Hotel, which is one of the Ottawa’s finest hotels. Ideally located in the heart of downtown Ottawa - directly across from Confederation Park and the National Arts Centre, this is your home for the next three nights. You cannot help but feel pampered with an indoor, heated pool, whirlpool, sauna and fitness center. GENERAL INFORMATION
One-Day Tours: For one-day tours, full payment is due within seven days of making a reservation. If a guest elects to purchase Travel Insurance, the insurance cost is due within seven days of making a reservation.
Prices are per person, per trip and include all round trip transportation, accommodations, meals, entertainment, admissions, tour escorts, guides, taxes and gratuities as per the unique itinerary of each trip, unless otherwise stated.
Multiple-Day Tours: For multiple-day tours, a 20% per person deposit is due within seven days of making a reservation. Balance is then due 90 days prior to departure. If a guest elects to purchase Travel Insurance, the insurance cost is due within seven days of making a reservation.
It is the travelers’ responsibility to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to designated departure times. Any guest not arriving in time for departure may be left behind. The Upper Class, LLC assumes no responsibility for guests arriving late at departure points at any location.

Important Reservation Information MEDICAL CANCELLATION INSURANCE PROTECTION If a guest is unable to travel due to illness or other health issues, The Upper Class Medical Cancellation Insurance program provides a refund for the cost of any trip, minus the price of the insurance. The refund will be made upon receipt of a doctor’s note. The note must state that, based on an office visit, the guest was not able to travel. The note must be signed by the doctor and dated on or before the trip’s departure date. Insurance is available for purchase within seven days of making your reservation. Insurance claims must be received within 14 days after the departure date of the tour. Insurance is available for cancellations due to medical reasons only. Once purchased, insurance is non-refundable and non-transferable. The Insurance fee does not cover any changes in tour prices which arise from an individual’s traveling companion electing to cancel prior to departure. In this case, the price difference will be deducted from the refund of the person who cancels. Division of these charges between the passengers involved is solely their responsibility.

Credits are valid for 12 months from the date issued. The Upper Class, LLC is not responsible for events cancelled out of our control. Where possible, The Upper Class will make efforts to secure alternate arrangements at our discretion. If The Upper Class, LLC is provided a rain check for a cancelled event, the rain check becomes the property of the traveler and The Upper Class assumes no further responsibility. The Upper Class, LLC reserves the right to cancel a tour for any reason. Refunds will be given for trips cancelled by The Upper Class. If The Upper Class is forced to cancel a tour due to an Act of God, compensation is at the sole discretion of The Upper Class. Beach. You’ll drive the Park Loop Road for breathtaking views of ocean, mountains, and forests. The park is home to a wide variety of plants and animals, and the tallest mountain on the U.S. Atlantic coast. After lunch on your own in Bar Harbor, you’ll visit one of Bar Harbor’s most popular museums and enjoy an entertaining and educational presentation on lobstering from a local fisherman at the The Mount Desert Oceanarium, one of the few remaining lobster hatcheries in the world. The Lobster Hatchery and Museum is heralded for its support of education and preserving a Maine way of life. At the Maine Lobster Museum, you’ll view a retired Lobster boat and other tools of the trade and enjoy the stories and company of local and retired lobstermen. Here you will learn about Maine’s lobster industry and about the lobster’s life outside of the kitchen. Then tour the adjacent Maine Lobster Hatchery to see how baby lobsters are raised from eggs to the stage where they can survive easily on their own in the wild. Day 3: Portland, ME (B, D) This morning, we’ll head for historic Portland for a guided tour, including a stop at Portland Head lighthouse – Maine’s oldest and also the most photographed!
