At 73, Rhodes has never been one to shy away from bold prints and iconic patterns. Rewind half a century to the late 1960s and a youthful Zandra’s vibrant designs were considered a little left-field. Unperturbed, the designer made dresses from her own fabrics, embedding printed textiles within her craft.

Introduced to the colourful world of at textiles by her mother, Zandra studied Medway College of Art in Kent, before securing a place at London’s The Royal

skinny fat
Many of us take up jogging to help lose weight, but the latest school of thought suggests it could have the opposite effect. Nutrafit’s Rebecca Watts explains why. How many times have you said or heard someone say - “I’m going to start running as I need to lose some weight” or “I’m going jogging to get rid of this belly”? For years we have believed that cardiovascular exercise makes you fit, healthy and helps you to lose weight, a fact evident by the amount of women seen sweating in the gym on cardio equipment. However, over the past 12 months or so, there has been a shift in thinking, with some studies going as far as stating “Cardio makes you skinny fat”. But can cardio really make you fat? Surely exercise is exercise? Cardio is generally used to describe moderate intensity, steady state, aerobic activity. Putting aside endurance athletes and competitors, most of us participate in exercise to get fitter and healthier and more often than not for aesthetic reasons i.e. to look better. Depending on the individual this might mean toning and/or losing fat. The reason most women select cardio to look better and be healthier is
because they have bought into the calorie reduction method to lose weight - eat less, exercise more and the more exercise you do the better the results and the healthier you will be. BUT this is not the case, it could actually be doing the opposite. Cardio exercise has been shown to be catabolic (in simple terms - muscle wasting), which can have a
"The belief of the more I do, the better the results, is likely causing metabolic decline, and could actually be making you fatter!" knock-on effect on the metabolism by reducing the resting metabolic rate. It can also lead to a reduction in strength, and can encourage more fat storing. What’s more cardio exercise doesn’t improve fitness in the way you think it
F&F
does. What it does is makes you good at running at that pace for a long time, and there are limits on the benefits to your heart and lungs. The ‘skinny fat’ theory is based on excessive cardio causing people to lose weight from the large calorie deficit; but with much of this being from muscle loss, the effect can be increased fat storage. Consequently the belief of the more I do, the better the results, is likely causing metabolic decline, and could actually be making you fatter! So what can you do? Being active is great, but what you need to do is get the most from your activity, so opt for a variety of exercise which is good for the heart, body and soul. If you love cardio then the occasional run is not going to kill you but if you are only doing it for health or to look good then swap it for shorter periods of interval training which is better for your heart, lungs and fat loss. Finally, start to think of exercise as building not burning - doing resistance (weight bearing) exercise each week can increase resting metabolic rate and strength, and promote more fat loss. If you want to discover more on this topic, this is a great read www.strengthsensei.com/is-cardiomaking-you-skinny-fat URBAN FOX JULY 2016 21
for ONE ALL
In 2010 when David Cameron spoke of empowering communities, building a "Big Society" that would take power away from politicians and give it to people, I cynically wondered if this was not a simple case of pass the ‘social responsibility’ parcel. But with recent studies suggesting that our personal happiness is intertwined with the wellbeing of our local community, I’m starting to reconsider. This month we take a look at why social networks are becoming increasingly important, plus the simple ways you can help improve your community’s wellbeing. 7 reasons why bigger is better…
disease and increasing how long we live.
5
Neighbourhoods with high levels of social interaction generally have less crime and more safe places for children to play.
1
6
2
7
Strong neighbourhood social networks can have a significant impact on our quality of life and wellbeing as they provide something which is vital for all of us - a sense of belonging.
Neighbourhood networks stop us becoming isolated and can provide a source of support e.g. looking after our house when we're away or helping with informal childcare.
3
Local communities also provide us with opportunities to do things for others - to give as well as receive support - which has been scientifically shown to increase well-being.
4
The physical benefits that come when we connect with people locally, include reducing the risk of depression, lowering the risk of heart Source: www.actionforhappiness.org
Building local connections means forming relationships with people who are like us but also with those that aren’t. This makes communities more united, creating community spirit.
There’s a strong link between community wellbeing and the extent to which we feel empowered to influence our local environment improving the local area or resolving issues. Ways you can contribute to the “Big Society”… Start simple. If you regularly pass someone in your street you don’t know smile and say hello. From small acorns… If someone new moves in, offer to help with any questions they might have about the local area.
Look out for new opportunities to connect – a residents association, exercise class, book group etc. Have a kindness day and try to perform at least 5 different acts of kindness for different people. Join a local ‘time bank’. Deposit your time by giving support to others and withdraw it when you need help. Create a community garden. Get friends, fresh air and exercise, as well as improving your local environment. Involve your neighbours in some fundraising activities - a sports or social event. Have fun, and raise money for a good cause too. Start a cooperative. Residents in a Cumbrian village clubbed together to keep their local pub from closing. Throw a street party. What better way to get to know your neighbours and enjoy the area you live in. And finally… Much of what affects the quality of people's lives is under the direct control of local government: green spaces, schools, transport, housing, libraries, sports and leisure facilities etc. If you think that your local MP or councillor could be doing more to prioritise wellbeing in your community, write and tell them. MIX A good cocktail recipe is the key ingredient to getting your summer soirée to pack a punch. We ask Marco’s, Leicester to get the party started. You will need: Cocktail shaker Strainer Pint glass Martini glass Whiskey glass Matches or lighter Ice
COSMOPOLITAN 25 ml Ketel One Vodka 50ml Cointreau 40ml Cranberry Juice 10ml Funkin Lime Juice Dash of Egg White (optional) Orange Peel
Juice and Egg White. Alternatively, swap the vodka for 25ml of Amaretto Disaronno to give the Cosmopolitan a distinct almond makeover! Place a pint glass on top of the shaker and shake together all ingredients for around 30 seconds. Take out the ice from the chilled cocktail glass, and strain into the glass.
Firstly, chill a cocktail glass with ice, and leave to chill while preparing the cocktail.
Peel a thick one inch piece of orange peel, being careful to not to include any orange flesh on the peel. Gently heat the skin of the peel using a match or lighter, then squeeze the peel until oil comes out of peel and flames onto the cocktail.
In a cocktail shaker, add together the Vodka, Cointreau, Cranberry Juice, Funkin Lime
Place orange peel at the side of the glass for garnish and heightened flavour.
CIROC SOUR 20ml Ciroc Vodka 10ml Kwai Feh Lychee Liquer 10ml Midori Dash Lime Juice Dash Elderflower Cordial Dash Lemonade Lemon Peel Take a cocktail shaker and mix together Ciroc Vodka, Lychee Liqauer, Midori, Lime Juice and Elderflower Cordial. Place pint glass on top of shaker and shake together for around 30 seconds. Next, fill up a short glass, or a whisky glass, with ice and strain mixed cocktail into the glass. Top up the glass with a dash of lemonade. Finally, garnish the cocktail with a lemon peel, shaped into a lemon spiral. This can be made by gently twisting a thick, one inch piece of lemon peel and placing on top of the Ciroc Sour

Curse of the
stay-athome Mum Ever wanted to ditch your 9 to 5 and become a domestic goddess? This month we ask stay-at-home mum Sarah Mettrick the worst thing about her ‘job’ and no it’s not the kids.
So there I am feeling fabulous, looking good, confidence soaring as I work the room, and then it happens. That question we stay-at-home mums dread. “So what is it you do?” While my confidence and self-esteem elope into the sunset I try to answer with conviction. “I’m at home at the moment.” “Oh, lovely.” The other guests - inevitably a Doctor, Fund Manager and Solicitor - drop their heads into their prosseco as a molecule of pity dampens the atmosphere. At this point some old boy will usually throw his trunks on, grab a red float and dive into the sea of shame and save you by saying ‘Ah yes the most difficult and rewarding job there is.’ Although grateful for his efforts albeit slightly patronising - I’m used to coughing and spluttering my way back to shore. It would however be a far more graceful swim if there were some guidelines we stay-at-home Mums could
follow. Here goes…
Throw in some impressive hobbies
Your arms are aching after your Baton Twirling class. Drop in a ‘merci’ now and again. It’s easy to get confused now you are bilingual following your French for Beginners course.
Embellish on what you do at home
There’s the Interior Design Project (the fact you are only deciding on either Misty Mountain or Cabbage White for the bathroom walls is irrelevant) or share your findings on how you saved £3.47 on your Ocado shop.
Talk about your career pre-kids
Ok so it was years ago, you used to run a business and now you struggle to run the bath but heh that was you. Once. Past accomplishments may just have to do until more recent ones are achieved.
Create a fancy title for yourself
Let your personality shine through. If you are an embroidery, quilt making kind of a gal go with ‘Homemaker’. If you used to
White Stuff
be a CEO, go straight for the jugular with ‘Home Engineer’ or ‘Home Economist’.
Surrender
The man in trunks has already pointed out the complexity of your role. Let it all out. From rude awakenings to finding a carrot in your washing machine drum. Wear your heart on your sleeve and agree with ‘The Hoff’. So after hearing about the success of various investment houses and how pioneering surgery is changing the lives of thousands I confirm how rewarding it is not to get poo on my hands now Jacob is out of nappies! A couple more glasses of prosecco and my confidence returns. Next time I am asked THAT question I will need no lifeguard to save me. I will already be clad in my finest bikini, fully stretched and ready to perform a perfect double pike into the sea of domestic pride. Well… that’s the plan.

Meghan
Meghan Trainor shot to stardom with All About That Bass. Hitting the number one spot in 58 countries, it became one of the best-selling singles of all time, making Trainor a household name in the process. Yet despite its doo-wop melody and catchy tune, Trainor’s All About That Bass wasn’t your typical pop song. With reference to diverse body shapes and the importance of self-acceptance, the track quickly became an inspiration to her young female fans - aka the Megatrons - dealing with negative body image and bullying issues. But does she see herself as a poster girl for the curvier woman? “I didn’t say, oh I wanna be the body positive girl – it’s just the song I wrote for myself worked so well for the world and the video and everything I did before being a famous figure. I was just being myself - I didn’t lose sleep because I was scared of being a spokesperson.” In spite of her assertions Trainor now fronts plus-size retailer FullBeauty Brands #OwnYourCurves campaign, which launched late 2015. But the successful career of this 22-year old songstress hasn’t always been plain sailing. “We sent it to every label and every single label turned it down” she says of her debut track. “After 9 months, Epic Records heard it again with a new A&R (because it was his first week on the job) and he got that song and was
like ‘L.A. Reid [record producer], you’ve got to hear this’ and so that’s how it happened”. Trainor’s music is predominantly influenced by a 1950’s vibe and after her big break and the success of her debut album Title, she had to carefully consider the continuance of her ‘doo wop’ style when writing her next album. “There were a lot of conversations between my family members and my team about whether or not to keep the ‘doo wop’ or completely let it go. There were fights about it! I was writing doo wop and I had like four albums done which were doo wop but were slightly improved from the last album”. In the end she opted to experiment with different musical styles including dance and R&B, and her recent single NO is more reminiscent of 1990’s American boyband N-Sync than her mainstay doo wop harmonies. Despite this change in direction, NO quickly reached over 250 million views on YouTube and ultimately, the song changed the focus of its parent album Thank You (released in May), on which six of the original tracks were replaced with new ‘experimental’ material. One of Trainor’s songs that did not make
the album was soulful ballad Remind Myself. “It’s all about when I’m sitting down and I think about the future and freak out and have to remind myself that I’m all good, I’m OK and it’s really beautiful and it’s universal” says Meghan. “I think I sent it to [talent manager] Scooter Braun and I was like does Tori Kelly need something – this song needs to live and I don’t know how to make it live but I’m gonna try. Remind Myself will come out.” Having previously revealed to MTV that her work is influenced by her favourite pop icons - including Elvis and Aretha - the singer makes no bones about her ideal song writing collaboration “Yeah. Bruno Mars where are you” says Trainor. “Every interview I have, I say his name very loud - I love him. I just want to meet him and write with him. I recently met one of my idols, will.i.am, at The Voice and I was so nervous to meet him”. Fans of X-Factor may remember that
LIFE & WORK
“I didn’t say, oh I wanna be the body positive girl – it’s just the song I wrote for myself worked so well for the world” Trainor joined Rita Ora at Judge’s Houses last year as well as performing on The Voice. “I grew up watching these shows” she enthuses, “and I remember my publisher at 17 was like ‘I signed you up for The Voice’ and I was like; ‘No, no, no, I’m not doing that’. Like me sitting in that judge’s seat, watching these girls walk like half a mile to get to us, and then stand there and sing, they were like freaking out. I have so much respect for all the people who audition for those shows”.
Grammy Award for best new artist and cried tears of happiness. “You work so hard” explains Meghan, “I mean, there’s many other awards that you want and I love going to the awards shows – it’s so cool. But, the Grammy...that’s why I cried so hard because I’ve never worked so hard in my life and that’s the dream. That’s like our Olympics, so to get one at such a young age, at 22, was unreal. It didn’t feel real. It felt like a big movie and I couldn’t stop crying.”
This is praise indeed from the girl who in February this year won a prestigious
More recently Trainor embarked on her stateside ‘Untouchable’ tour, performing
material from both her major-label studio albums. “I’m smarter this time around” jokes Meghan “I asked for days off…” When asked what she misses most when on tour, “My dog Biggie… I love that dog. Every time I’m home, it’s like a big celebration as she loves me so much. She’s with my younger brother and I make him Facetime me every day”. UK fans will have to wait a little longer before seeing Meghan perform live, as her 33 date US tour is not scheduled to finish until September 2016. URBAN FOX JULY 2016 35

HOMES & GARDENS
FAR OUT Is your home ready for a seventies revival asks Maison Interior’s Zoe Hubbard? The era of avocado bathrooms, orange walls and faux wood-panelling are back in vogue but with a decidedly modern twist. Here’s how you can get the look.
PATTERN
For visual interest and retro flair, patterns are absolutely key. Try mixing bold geometric patterns with curvaceous shapes for high impact. But beware of going too bold. A room full of patterns leaves your eyes with nowhere to rest, so patterns should always play an accent role. I’d suggest choosing just one or two design elements – windows, walls, flooring, furniture etc. - that would benefit from a few pops of pattern, and make those the focus of the space.
COLOUR
Armani
Taken from the world of fashion, colour-blocking is a great way to brighten up any room. Make
ACCESSORIES it wild and neon if you dare, but remember the design can become overwhelming if there are too many dazzling shades competing for attention. While it’s okay to pair three intense colours, the safest formula that guarantees harmony and good balance is one bright, one bold, one neutral. This way you’ll maximise the impact of each colour but avoid blinding your guests.
ART
A piece of art can really bring a room to life, plus give it a fresh perspective. Abstract and pop art work well with this era, as do photographic prints representative of the photorealism movement of the 1960’s and 70’s. Avoid your home looking like a gallery by choosing just one piece to take centre stage. It isn’t always easy to match art with the décor of a room, so try using your painting or sculpture to create a colour palette, then repeat it in the fabrics or accessories.
Go over the top and theatrical with everything from decorative feathers and bold foliage to warm metals and colourful ceramics. Underfoot, contrast on-trend polished stone and lacquered flooring with natural rugs such as fur, hide and cosy shag-pile. For furniture, think Bauhaus and opt for occasional pieces incorporating wicker, rattan or woven cane, as well as tubular metal structures. And you can’t go wrong with a retro leather sofa.
LIGHTS
70’s lighting was innovative with new design solutions including the lava, globe and arc floor lamps at the fore. Bold light fixtures that serve as the focal point are trending this year, so even if you don’t want to go all out with a psychedelic shade, a statement light above a dining room table or over your kitchen island can still add a wow factor. Metallic fixtures with long suspended shades bridge the gap between retro and contemporary home design. URBAN FOX JULY 2016 41

ALL-WHITE? Want to spice up a bland kitchen but held back by the fear of a costly mistake? Here’s 17 ways to add colour without breaking the budget. Now you’re cooking!
1
Mix and match your cabinet doors. We love white, but consider throwing in a pop of colour for added interested. If you go for a standard size they’re easily replaced at a later date.
2
If your cabinet doors are wooden, you can always save money by painting them in different shades. When you bore of them, simply strip them back and start again.
They’re fairly simple to apply, are removable and offer instant colour.
7
Replace or refurbish your countertop to add a dramatic sweep of colour. For you DIYers, use a high-gloss or semi-gloss enamel to transform your kitchen surfaces.
8
Whether your style is retro or ultramodern, swap out your tonal kitchen chairs or barstools in favour of brighter, more interesting options.
3
Create a statement splashback. Choose a colourful ceramic tile for a small area, or, if the space is larger, opt for a back-painted glass splashback that complements the colour of the wall.
6
A new window covering can dramatically change the look of the whole kitchen, especially if you combine with accessories in the same accent colour.
12
Freshen up your fixtures. Light fittings, door handles etc. don’t have to blend in. A brightly coloured pendant or hand-painted handles will make your kitchen pop in all the right places.
13
If you have a kitchen/diner, add colour underfoot with an area rug under your dining table. If you can’t find the perfect rug, create your own colourful look with individual carpet tiles. Don’t underestimate the visual impact of vibrant kitchenware. From kettles and toasters to saucepans and blenders, choose appliances beautiful enough to live on the countertop.
Apollo Blinds
Painting just one wall can completely transform a room. Pull your inspiration from your existing kitchen decor, your favourite foods or simply find a colour that suits your space. Make use of open shelving. Either paint the inside of the shelves in a bright shade or keep them neutral and use them to display your collection of colourful dinnerware.
Hanging art in your kitchen will not only add colour but also creates a point of interest and personalises your space.
14

15
Hang bright tea towels from your oven door, hooks and pegs. And if you have a table in the kitchen, a bright runner or table cloth will pack a punch.

For those who prefer a neutral palette in the kitchen, a less obvious option is choosing fixtures and appliances - sinks, cookers etc. - that feature hidden pops of colour. Stick colour on, with a wall decal. There are lots of inexpensive kitchen inspired decals on the market.
A small kitchen herb garden adds not only colour but scent too. Save precious countertop space and create a dramatic focal point with a wallmounted herb planter… …if you’re not green fingered, a bowl of lemons or limes, or a fragrant flower arrangement will create the same effect with little effort.

Simon Says…, 23-24 Jul, De Montfort Hall
with Ralph Fiennes as Shakespeare’s most notorious villain and Vanessa Redgrave as Queen Margaret. War-torn England is reeling after years of bitter conflict. King Edward is ailing, and as political unrest begins to stir once more, Edward’s brother Richard – vicious in war, despised in peacetime – awaits the opportunity to seize his brother’s crown. Through the malevolent Richard, Shakespeare examines the all-consuming nature of the desire for power amid a society riddled by conflict. This new production hones a microscopic focus on the mythology surrounding a monarch whose machinations are inextricably woven into the fabric of British history.

Maggie’s Plan
(15) 1hr 33mins Opens nationwide Fri 8 Jul 0116 242 2800 | phoenix.org Independent New Yorker Maggie (Greta Gerwig) longs for a child but she’s determined to go it alone, all she needs is a ‘contribution’ from an old school friend. Things become complicated however when she meets and falls for married “ficto-critical anthropologist” John (a laid-back Ethan Hawke). Fast forward a few years and we find Maggie and John together, with John separated from his wife. But Maggie is falling out of love with
big smile that leaves you with a Maggie's Plan: A film
John, is there any way she can just give him back to his ex? In her fifth directorial outing Director Rebecca Miller, (2002’s Personal Velocity and 2005’s The Ballad of Jack and Rose) breathes fresh life into the typical romcom, with Gerwig effortlessly fitting the bill for the oddball character of Maggie. Her charming naivety (Maggie is a person who sees how the world should ideally

be and acts accordingly) guarantee that the audience are on her side throughout, even as her somewhat Machiavellian plans begin to take root! Superb support comes from Saturday Night Live alumni Bill Hader and Maya Rudolph as Maggie’s bickering friends, and Julianne Moore is on scene-stealing form as John’s formidable wife Georgette. A film that leaves you with a big smile on your face.

PEOPLE & PLACES
Escape Holidays. Aren't they great? A time to unwind, relax and experience something new. Yet some parts of a holiday can be incredibly stressful: the packing, travel arrangements, currency, insurance, not to mention organising the family. Home ‘Chief Exec’ Sarah Mettrick tells us how getting away from it all, is tantamount to managing an SME.
“Is seven pairs too many?” you ponder while packing for two weeks of sun, sea and Rioja. They all seem so necessary. Two pairs of flip flops (beach and glam), trainers (which you like to think you will use but almost never do), smart flats, two pairs of wedges and the strappy sandals. Your husband answers immediately; ‘YES!’ But we know it’s not that simple. Factors have to be considered; comfort, mood, colour, what goes with what. It’s a quandary. It’s the night before you head off. He gets home, packs his holdall in less than ten minutes, throws it onto the landing and says, “You have been packing for a week.” The ‘packing’ (he packs for one, you pack for yourself and the offspring) is just one item on the Before We Leave agenda. Does he not know the intricate procedures involved in getting a family out of the house for a fortnight? Time
to launch Operation Justify as quite frankly going on holiday can be likened to running a small business. So you confirm the tickets, passports and euros are ready (Admin & Cash Flow). Those presents for the god children and Aunt Joan, whose birthdays fall whilst you are away did not air drop themselves into the kitchen and selfwrap (Purchasing & Quality Control). Yes and who rang Bert next door to ask if he would put the bins out (Property Maintenance) and then sweet talked Maureen opposite to water the pots? (Strategic Planning). Then there was money to leave for the cleaner (Staff Payroll) and so it goes on. Even when you think you are all done, you then remember the fridge is still full and as everyone piles into the taxi you are frantically knocking on a neighbour’s door trying to generously off load three

eggs, half a pint of milk and a wilted lettuce (Health & Safety). On arrival at the airport you are asked if you packed the case yourself; you absolutely know you have so why the hesitation? Has anyone suspect been sighted on the landing near the suitcase? Was that plumber REALLY a plumber? (Risk Management). You head to departures and beep as you walk through the security scanner. You panic for a microsecond; you may have accidentally dropped a long sharp object into the sole of your shoe. They check and luckily you haven’t. Which you knew, you are a little stressed - you just need a holiday. Now on the plane you can relax and enjoy the flight and dream of lazy days in the sun…not so fast. Have you forgotten it’s your responsibility to worry for two and half hours so the plane won’t crash; you’ve always done that and so far have achieved a 100% success record. You really don't want to become complacent now (Cargo Protection). After hours of deep breathing and regularly checking for happy calm expressions on the Flight Attendant’s face you land safely and can begin your holiday at last. Rather smug you feel too - little does hubbie know you made the executive decision to leave behind a pair of flip flops. URBAN FOX JULY 2016 65

MY WAY
Elemis
Zeffy Thompson “My life is very busy but I wouldn’t have it any other way”, says Zeffy Thompson, owner of 34 Windsor St. I grew up in Burnage, Manchester. When I was younger I thought I’d become a dancer or journalist, that changed when the Pub Company I worked for part time during college offered me a management program. I left college with 5 A Levels and took the offer as by that time I had a young son Nathan to support. I stayed with the Pub Company for 2 years before taking a step down in position to join a new fine dining restaurant concept in Manchester as Head Waitress. This was one of the best decision I’ve ever made and for the next 10 years I stayed in hospitality in Manchester and Liverpool. I also opened my first restaurant ‘Bijou’. I was just 27 years old and even though it didn’t work out, I was very proud of what I had achieved and knew this was something I wanted to do again in the future. The next 11 years were spent in Dubai where I branched into event management. During this time I met my boyfriend, Chris. Although Dubai is a super fun place, I began to miss my family and Nathan wasn’t really enjoying being in Dubai. I decided that if I was coming home, I wanted to open a restaurant.
In 2012 we moved back to UK and settled in Burbage. I researched the area and discovered there was a lack of good eateries in a 5 -10 mile radius. In February 2013 I signed on the dotted line and after an extensive refurb ‘34 Windsor St’ opened for business three months later. I wanted to create a destination restaurant as my research told me people would travel for good food. Introducing a menu so different to the previous restaurant was a challenge at first. We went against the grain and didn’t necessarily give people what they expected. Standing firm behind our concepts, while learning to let go of the ideas that don’t work has been a tremendous learning curve. Three years on we still focus on modern British food, cocktails are now huge for us and we have more on offer menu wise. Plus we run our own events from weddings and wine evenings to cocktail master classes. Our biggest achievement is to still be open 3 years on. The industry is a lot tougher than I remember, you can’t take your eye off the ball and attention to detail is crucial. It’s great to get the accolades such as The Michelin guide,

but the best is seeing our guests take away happy memories of being at 34. I love that about our business. I’ve never taken more than a week off in the last three years but I still have a good life-work balance. I work with my son – he’s my assistant manager - I also work hard to make myself available for down time; whether that’s date night with Chris, visiting the family or checking out new bars/restaurants for inspiration with my son. What’s next? Our latest project is a temporary outside bar in our courtyard called ‘The Hideaway’ which I plan to turn into a permanent bar area by knocking down our garage and building a full on Cocktail Bar offering an extensive cocktail list, craft beers, and a relaxed food menu. Watch this space!
