The fee for the Penn State Extension Master Gardener Basic Training is $200, and includes a copy of the award-winning Penn State Master Gardener Manual. “I came into this class knowing a fair amount about gardening, especially native plants and organic vegetable gardening, so I thought this would be a refresher course for me. Not only did I learn new things about topics I thought I knew well, but I also learned about horticultural areas of interest I had yet to explore. We began the course with a solid plant biology lesson, which was the framework for the remainder of our studies. I especially enjoyed the classes on fruit trees, ornamental plants/landscaping, and indoor plants. Besides the classroom knowledge, I encountered a wide network of professional educators and learned of many online and print resources.” says Jen Schneidman Partica, Master Gardener Apprentice from the 2018-19 Penn State Extension Master Gardener Basic Training Course. not just one great concert event, but four over two nights. Each 75-minute performance will be centered around an iconic album, and include other classic hits by the same artist. On Friday, April 24th the first performance of the night will be Fleetwood Mac Rumors, followed by a thunderous presentation of Led Zeppelin II. On Saturday, April 25th the Collective will return to its roots, performing Pink Floyd’s The Dark Side of the Moon in its entirety, just as they did in 2004 with their first-ever major performance. The grand finale of this two-night experience will be the greatest hits of her royal majesty of rock and roll, Queen.
“It has been an amazing 20 years, filled with great music, great students, and the incredible opportunity to build a unique organization with a truly outstanding and highly dedicated staff, who don’t know how to back down from a challenge,” said Dave Brumbaugh, UMC Founder & Executive Director. “With this 20th Anniversary Celebration, we are going to hit a new high watermark for creativity, planning, implementation, and performance, that will challenge and inspire our organization for years to come. I can’t wait to get started!” The Collective is in the process of seeking sponsorships for this performance season from businesses, organizations, or individuals in the community. Sponsorship dollars underwrite the cost of UMC performances; including theater rental, stage build-outs, in-house technical and stage crew labor, costumes, equipment costs, and more. Al-

I have had cheap hearing aids. I had very expensive hearing aids. I was never happy. I love my new hearing aids because I do not have to worry about batteries, and I know they are not going to quit on me. it has opened up a whole new world for me. The television volume went down. Everything is so clear. It’s been a really great experience at Artisan Hearing Technologies. - Patricia Wetzel
I had a hearing problem, but I would not admit it. The family was always after me to get a hearing test. I heard about Artisan Hearing Technologies and I thought I would try it. I drove past the office a few times before I finally stopped in and had a hearing test. I had hearing loss. No pressure from Jennifer Burget, but I decided to take a hearing aid out on a 2 week trial. I was very surprised at what I was hearing, no more repeating myself, no more huh. The TV volume went down. I love the app for my smart phone, it’s great! If you want the best hearing aids and service I recommend Jennifer at Artisan Hearing Technologies. - John McDermott
I thought hearing aids were much more expensive than what they were. Jennifer took the time with me to make sure I got what I needed and that I understood what I got. I wish I had done this sooner, or at least checked into it. My hearing aids sound amazing. I like to listen to music again and I can hear at work. Artisan has the most up to date equipment, I have been to other places and I know what they do, and their is a difference with the use of the equipment and I know. Jennifer’s level of professionalism is like no other. - Karl Seyler

We want to know. Send us your testimonial. Testimonials: (Looking for some new comments of success)
Fall 1991 and January 1992 Testimonials: My cousin and his new wife (both in their early 40’s) were visiting my mom, my sister, and I. My sister asks, “So, how did you meet?” They kind of giggled and asked each other, “Should we tell them?” They said they met through the LYBL column. My sister and I decided we would try our fare at meeting “Mr. Right”. (BTW, my cousin and his wife are still married and hopelessly in love.) My sister didn’t have much luck, but in January 1992, I saw this ad that kept drawing my attention. As described, he really wasn’t what I was looking for, but... We met later that month for the first time; got engaged in 1993 and married in 1994. We will celebrate our 25th anniversary this October and we have a 23-year-old daughter who lives out of state. Thank you, LYBL! Mr. & Mrs. J.N.
