MINIBUS OPERATORS HUFF AND PUFF: PM DISPELS THEIR DEMANDS Right: Prime Minister Dr. Gonsalves was firm as he proceeded to expose what could be considered the folly in the minibus operators’ demands.

by DAYLE DASILVA PRIME MINISTER Dr Ralph Gonsalves has indicated that the government is prepared to assist minibus operators with a temporary economic subsidy, and that it will assist with the sanitization of vehicles used for public transport. The Prime Minister was responding to a list of demands made of his government by the St Vincent and the Left: Minibuses from the Windward formed an impressive caravan on their way into Kingstown.

CHOPPINS MAN KILLED by KENVILLE HORNE POLICE ARE NOW INVESTIGATING the shooting death of a Choppins man who was killed in Fair Hall sometime after 7:00pm on Wednesday. Rodney Cadougan, aka ‘Menace’, was, up to the time of his death, a driver with the Electrical Inspectorate Division. He also operated a small shop in his home community, Choppins. Reports are that Cadougan was walking in the Fair Hall area when he was pounced on by three assailants.
