C .H. Ca mpbel l E lementary School students and their families traveled out of this world during the school’s annual Spring Festival with lots of games, food and fun on March 11. With the theme ‘Out of This World,’ students and their families wore neon T-shirts and danced in a black room - the converted school library - decorated with aliens, rockets, planets and flashing lights. As attendees entered the transformed library, they were instantly met with dance music and a dance team, which was there to get the party started and dance with the students. The evening also offered bounce-arounds, a photo booth, games, face painting and a Chinese auction, which featured baskets donated from local businesses and classroom baskets with items donated from students and their families. Spring Fest is a fundraiser for the school and according
to C.H. Campbell PTO chair and Spring Fest chair Shannon Eddy, proceeds from the event will go toward purchasing technology and improvements to the school. Along with all the fun and games, dinner was served in the cafeteria. Numerous PTO volunteers helped in all aspects of the evening, from selling raffle tickets to manning the photo booth. Several C.H. Campbell staffers also donated their time to help with the festival. Canfield High School National Honor Society members also helped with the event to earn volunteer hours. Canfield High School cheerleaders volunteered at the face painting booth. Several Canfield Village Middle School students also helped at the festival. “C.H. The Easter Bunny hopped its way to the Lariccia Family Community Center on March 8 and 9 for an evening with the Easter Bunny. A two-night Dinner with the Easter Bunny event took place at Boardman Park for children and their families to celebrate Easter and the upcoming spring season. Families spent the evening visiting the Easter Bunny, eating a meal, making different crafts and also petting a real rabbit. Families enjoyed the twohour event by eating a meal when they first got there. After the meal, the children and their families went into the joining room to work on crafts and get a picture with the Easter Bunny. “They get to enjoy the spring and Easter season as a family,” said Karen McCallum, the recreation director of Boardman Park. The children lined up to visit the Easter Bunny and tell them what they were hoping to find in their Easter basket. There were also several tables set up with different art projects for the children to work on. James G. Leone, D.C.
As a family of four, being overweight almost our entire lives, we never thought we could feel this good again (at my age, 72). Many thanks to Dr. James Leone and his kind, helpful staff in Boardman, Ohio for introducing us to The NutriMost Fat Loss Program. We not only lost almost 40 lbs. in 40 days, better health has returned. My husband, age 67, was off his diabetes medicine in 10 days. My daughter & I are off our blood pressure medication and blood pressure is Normal. It was so exciting to get up every morning and see who lost the most weight and start off a brand new day with more energy, fat loss, and better health. Absolutely too good to be true. Many aches & pains are gone. We are anxious to start on our 2nd round of the program to reach our goal weight!! Thanks again. Rudy, Kathryn, Miriam, Kathy D.
