Knocka Norris litter LARA breeder, Brooke Ennis, has a nice litter of seven pups on the list this week, by perennial stud success, Knocka Norris (February 2006 Elite State x Oriental Angel). MINCHA breeder, Belinda King, has the final litter, which has four dogs and one bitch, by the under-rated sire, Paw Licking (March 2011 Elite State x Kingsbrae Di), from the well bred bitch, Wee Jas (March 2014 Magic Sprite x Fast Finish), whose dam is by Big Daddy Cool x Westend Kaitlyn (Token Prince x Louisiana Lass).

Greyhounds in the home Happy 5th Birthday to the one who started it all my Friends of Greyhound Adoption beautiful boy Dasher. You’re one in a million dashy.
Lolly
Programs (Australia) Australia
Michele McCormack These days I can read Lolly like a book. As I've related before, I used to give Lolly a treat when I came home. She always acted effusively when she saw me.

Sunday Snoozing! Karen Repia
Nelson modelling half of his new jumper. At this rate I'll have finished knitting it just in time for summer
When I discovered that giving a treat when I got home encouraged separation anxiety, I cut out the treat and ignored Lolly for the first few minutes after I walked through the door. After two days her reaction was to ignore me also when I get home. She lifts her head to watch me but she doesn't get off her bed. Today was very different. I could hear her whining when I turned the car off. I was greeted by Lolly sobbing and whining and glueing herself to my heels. I picked the problem in one - the dog walker had called around while I was out. I hadn't been home to organise Lolly. There'd be no walk for Lolly today. I feel terribly guilty now. I promised Lolly I wouldn't forget my phone next time I go out but she didn't reply and is now sleeping off her great sorrow. (Photo of Lolly included for no reason at all...)
Good news weekend. Storm has gone to foster with Jacinta Ducatt. A wonderful foster carer with years of experience. Chance greyhound has gone to stay with Aunty Rozzie, although I do suspect that it will become mumsie, and Thelma is with us till her new owners are ready to take her home. O yeah, and Thelma roaches. Liz Bruekink
