Eat in a restaurant run by Basil, Sybil and Manuel where the characters serve their guests a hilarious three course dinner. The chef’s drunk, there’s a rat on the loose, the health inspector is on his way and a gnome has just turned up in the restaurant. Basil only manages to make matters worse, Sybil has been hitting the brandy and Manuel is... well, he’s just Manuel. Just don’t mention the war!
Organised by The Friends
The show begins in the bar over pre-dinner drinks, where the audience are greeted by the characters. Then, when the time comes, Basil invites everyone into the restaurant where they are served a three-course meal. This show is a parody, half-scripted and half-improvised by the actors, taking place around the audience whilst they eat. It references famous bits from the original show whilst having a narrative all of its own. Price: £45 (includes dinner and a pre-dinner drink) If you have any special dietary requirements please call the Box Office on 01635 46044.

Charles Flower: How we are bringing wild flowers back to the countryside A traditional meadow full of wild flowers is a rare sight today, but it is not too late to restore them and create new ones. Charles Flower is passionate about restoring the countryside. He has pioneered practical methods of wild flower restoration on his own farm, where he grows wild flower seed crops and runs restoration workshops. Charles Flower has proved it is possible to plan for diversity, harvest seed, propagate it and create new meadows, woods, hedges and ponds so that wild flowers can be successfully re-established in the countryside and in our gardens. This ensures a supply of nectar over a long period which will help to entice back countless butterflies and insects as well as the farmland birds which depend on them. Signed copies of Where Have All The Flowers Gone will be available to purchase in the bar. Price: £23
