2019 Closing Letter

1first, off, I want to thank you for being a part of my ministry. Yes you, holding this magazine right now. By keeping up to date with what I am doing, you are allowing me to have a platform to do the work God has called me to do.

I want to share something from one of my most popular teachings. It’s called the Favor Difference, in which I teach you that favor is attracted to a spirit of preparation. I want to share this with you as we move into the new year and prepare for more work and purpose that God will place on our lives. Whether you have heard this teaching before or not, let it wash over you with truth.

In the Bible, Jehoiachin was a king in captivity to another king. In Fact, he was one of several kings in captivity to the king of Babylon. One day, seemingly randomly, the king of Babylon reaches allowance, a new set of clothes and lets him eat at his table every day.

When I first read this I wondered, Why? Why did he suddenly choose to favor Jehoiachin? I did a little digging and found out that the name Jehoiachin literally means preparation, Jehoiachin was in captivity for 37 years. But I don’t think he was idly sitting by, letting his life waste away. I think he was preparing for those 37 years. He was actively bettering himself in some way and the king of Babylon noticed it.

We can learn a lot from Jehoiachin. Favor is attracted to a sprit of preparation. You too, even now, are preparing yourself. So get your antennas up, yours eyes open and your ears open, because favor is coming to your life.

Until you have seen the fruit, keep preparing for what is to come. How can you do that in these last few moments of 2019?
