THEME AND DETAILS enchanted forest

What a perfectly crisp and clean color palette Mega admitted that her dream wedding was inspired by the Twilight movies, which explains the forest venue. Besides white flowers with an abundance of leafy greenery, other decorative elements included wooden textures and finishes (to complement the surroundings),lace, twine, burlap, and small gilded touches to bring everything together. Some might think that too many small details would get lost in the woods, but it was quite the opposite from the leaf signs and gilded candle sticks to the dream catchers and twine hangings,it was all so beautiful.

CEREMONY

Surrounded by nature, the newlyweds exchanged their vows in a quiet forest clearing. A pair of wooden doors served as the entrance to the aisle, where the bride walked towards her groom for their Buddhist wedding ritual. This wedding proves that traditional ceremonies do not have to restrict you from achieving that romantic look and feel.

VENUE

Gunung Pancar,

Bogor, West Java

Set on a mountain in West Java, this dreamyforest venue was an unusual choice, but was theepitome of serenity and beauty. While it mightseem that the lack of sunlight would be an issuefor photos, the results were a sepia-wash dream,adding romance and drama to the overall effect.

RECEPTION

Once night fell, the reception came alive with a combination of fairy lights and glamorous chandeliers. Almost straight out of a movie set, the tables were set with lush greenery and white flowers, while rustic chandeliers with small gilded ornaments hung overhead. The entire marquee was draped with cloth for a dramatic touch, and decorated with hanging ferns and other lush greens, dream catchers, and woven hangings. What a night to remember!
