About 7,400 cubic feet per second of water rushes over the spillway at Magic Reservoir on Saturday at about 2:30 p.m., according to Lynn Harmon, general manager of Big Wood Canal Co. “The flows are varying a little with runoff and weather conditions,” Harmon said. “On Tuesday at 1:45 p.m. the outflow was 5,490 cfs. We’ve had some cooler conditions but with a rain event or warmer weather those inflows can spike up.
