DAY CAMPS Summer Day Camp
Summer Adventure Camp
For more than 60 years, Westminster has offered a traditional day camp experience with the look and feel of a rural summer camp. Campers experience a variety of activities tailored to their grade level, interest, and ability. New, fun challenges await campers every day—including tumbling, archery, arts and crafts, canoeing, and more. You will find our secluded camp site just across Nancy Creek from the main campus of Westminster. The Day Camp facilities include an athletic field, outdoor pool, canoe pond, nature and craft cabins, ropes course, riflery range, archery range, and a covered picnic area. Lunch is provided, but campers may bring a lunch if preferred (all lunches must be nut-free). Register your child to join the generations of young people who have spent summers at Westminster Summer Day Camp.
Ready for even more adventure? Join us for our new Adventure Camp! Available only for rising seventh and eighth graders, this weeklong camp includes two days of intense team-building and outdoor skill practice at Westminster’s Summer Camp before campers head to north Georgia! Our three-day, two-night adventure will be packed with hiking, tent camping, outdoor cooking, and more—surrounded by some of the most picturesque scenery our state has to offer! This camp is limited to 10 campers per session. No previous camping experience is required! A faculty guide, two counselors, and a certified Wilderness First Responder will attend each overnight trip. Grades 7–8

Camp Wildcats
Cubby Camp
Wildcat campers participate in arts and crafts, sports and games, water play on the field, and nature discovery. With in-house field trips, this group is always learning and having fun. Group games and other activities take place in the Lower School gym making this an excellent choice for campers on the younger side not quite ready for a full day outdoors. The one-week option will allow campers to try different types of camps.
Our only camp option for 3- and 4-year-olds has a full- and half-day choice. Camp is held at Tull Hall on the Westminster campus and includes daily indoor and outdoor activities in arts and crafts, sports and games, swimming at the camp pool, and nature discovery. Our youngest Wildcats will have rest time each afternoon and should bring two nut-free snacks daily. Before care from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. is available for $50 per week; no after care is available for this camp. Campers must be three or four years old by June 1 and fully potty trained.

Chess
Counselor-in-Training
Campers learn tactics and how to use a chess clock, play computer chess, and solve chess puzzles. They learn about and participate in different kinds of tournament play. This camp is ideal for campers who enjoy the popular game and would like to build their skills through lessons and competition. All levels welcome.
Designed for rising ninth and tenth grade students who have not yet turned 16, this camp is an excellent introduction to camp counselor duties. Two CIT campers are admitted per week and will rotate to their choice of Sports Camp, Summer Day Camp, or Wildcat Camp. While the CIT camp does not guarantee a counselor position in future years, it will help the camper determine where their interests lie. Admitting only two CIT campers per week allows a high level of leadership development and interaction with camp directors.
