MAC Volleyball offers a variety of competitive, recreational, and developmental classes. The goal of the Volleyball program is to provide opportunities for junior members to learn new skills, compete, and have fun with others. TENNIS NO HOLDS BARRED DRILLS NIGHT (AGES 18+)
This class is designed for 4.0+ or higher-level men and 4.5+ or higherlevel women. Drills focus on high-intensity, aggressive singles and doubles play designed to make players move more, position correctly, and anticipate an opponent’s next opportunity. Included in this class are conditioning exercises and drills intended to exhaust players and simulate third-set play in a long match. Capacity: 8
NTRP 4.0+ MEN & 4.5+ WOMEN – COACH MARCO PINEDA
BEGINNING YOUTH VOLLEYBALL (AGES 8-12)
This class covers basic volleyball fundamentals, including passing, hitting, serving, receiving, footwork, and defensive techniques. It also teaches team-building techniques and instills a personal work ethic. Capacity: 24
TENNIS SINGLES STRATEGY (AGES 18+)
This is a singles-specific class. Emphasis is placed on different aspects of singles play, such as attacking the net, playing high-percentage tennis, and the art of defending the court. Capacity: 6
NTRP 2.5-3.0+ – COACH MARCO PINEDA
JUNIOR OPEN PLAY (AGES 8+)
Enjoy playing volleyball with other juniors during this open play time. Also, look out for MAC’s free monthly clinics, where juniors can learn about the game and participate in drills. All skill and experience levels are welcome; no registration is required. Capacity: 30
ADULT OPEN PLAY (AGES 18+)

TENNIS TRICK SHOTS (AGES 18+)
For players who have always wanted to try trick shots seen on TV, join Coach Marco Pineda in this new summer class. Learn how to hit the behind-the-back volley, the disguised-backspin drop shot, and maybe even the ‘tweener! Success is not guaranteed, but a lot of laughs and trying new things on the tennis courts certainly is. Capacity: 8

Personal Training
MAC personal training offers members the opportunity to work with top-tier, nationally certified, and experienced fitness professionals. MAC trainers are here to assist you on your journey toward improved fitness and well-being, training for a specific sport or event, or starting a new fitness routine. MAC trainers can help members of all ages reach their goals and more by providing the accountability and expert coaching you need. (Members must be 14 years or older to train in main fitness room.) Group Exercise
Group Exercise classes are taught by expert instructors who know how to make fitness fun, while motivating and challenging you to the next level. Classes are designed to appeal to an array of interests, goals, and levels of intensity, and are offered free to all members ages 14 and older. Everyone can find a way to work up a sweat! No reservations are necessary in studios, but may be in specialized locations, and space may be limited.
Wellness Packages
Combine activities into a one- or two-hour session with the experienced MAC Wellness team! Enjoy a relaxation-and-recovery session with a massage followed by cupping, or take a lunch break for a private yoga session combined with a soothing massage or dry-needling with MAC’s naturopath. Children are invited to have their next birthday bash at MAC! Bounce House Parties are designed for children ages 2-9 years old. Health And Safety
For those interested in gaining the lifelong skills that come with CPR, first aid, and lifeguard classes and certifications, MAC offers members the resources to do just that. Red Cross-certified instructors are here to help equip members with the skills and knowledge to respond in an emergency situation that could mean the greatest difference in one’s life. Scuba Certifications
MAC’s Outdoor department, in conjunction with the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI), offers SCUBA classes for club children and adults. PADI is the world’s leading SCUBA diving training organization, offering a full range of courses from beginning to professional levels. Classes are held at MAC in the West Pool.
