They include: • Friday, June 29, 6 p.m., Bats in Oregon, presentation by Steve Langenstein, Bureau of Land Management wildlife biologist. • Saturday, July 7, 9:30 a.m., Fishing is Funtastic, angler and crabbing education for families presented by Jay Chojinacki, volunteer instructor. Open children ages 5 and older, with one parent present. • Thursday, July 12, 6 p.m., Fish our Local Waters, with ODFW fish biologist Gary Vonderohe, who will talk about the habitat and life cycle of local fish populations. • Saturday, July 21, 8 a.m., Clamming Locally with ODFW shellfish sampler and biologist Jim Heinrich will teach how to identify and clean clams. Dress warm and wear boots to clam after the one hour class. • Sunday, July 22, 10 a.m., Bandon historical walk with Reg Pullen. • Thursday, Aug. 2, 6 p.m., History of Bandon talk with local archaeologist and historian Reg Pullen, who will talk about the Nasomah Village that was located on the waterfront 4,000 years prior to settlers and progressing through the gold rush to present. • Friday, Aug. 3, 6 p.m., Wind, Weather and Waves, NOAA weather meteorologists
