BANDON POLICE Department and Bandon Kiwanis will hold its fourth annual Bicycle Rodeo from 2:30 to 4 p.m., Wednesday, July 25, at the Harbor Lights Middle School gym. The Kiwanis will supply free helmets for any child who needs one. Farmer’s Insurance will provide fingerprint and ID kits for children (with parental permission.) Bandon police officers will provide bicycle maintenance, crosswalk safety and materials for participating children to decorate their bicycles and helmets. There also will be drawings for prizes. This free event is made possible from donations and volunteers from the community. Children are encouraged to attend.

Bandon, Oregon BANDON HIGH School, Class of 1962’s 50th class reunion will be held Saturday, Sept. 8, (Cranberry Festival weekend) at the Bullards Beach State Park meeting hall yurt. Bill Perry will be the master of ceremonies. A hat will be passed for the hall rental, but there is no charge to attend this event and classmates are welcome to bring a guest.
