AN ARTS, Wine & Seafood Festival Labor Day weekend starts at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 1. Artists, crafters, and food and wine vendors will gather on East 11th Street in Port Orford. At 11 a.m. Saturday a parade begins near The Crazy Norwegian’s at U.S. Highway 101 and South Jackson. Other events: Saturday: Noon, motorcycle show and shine, mutt strut, Masons Fresh Fish Fry; 2 p.m., music and other entertainment; 5 p.m., booths close; 5-7 p.m., Art Walk. Sunday: Vendors return; also, classic car show; noon, Port Orford Chamber of Commerce albacore barbecue; 2 p.m., open talent show with cash prizes.
WESTERN ACADEMY of Theater for Children and Handicapped will perform “12 Angry Jurors,” a play adapted from “12 Angry Men.” WATCH Production’s opening performance starts at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14, at the Sprague Community Theater, 1202 11th St. S.W. in Bandon City Park.
