HEALTHWORKS! TV Oregon Regional Health Collaborative is seeking male and female actors age 30 and older to perform in comedic sketches on local TV and YouTube videos. Roles for current show include that of doctor and an elderly, quirky, married couple in their 70s. Bandon, Oregon PORT OF Bandon-sponsored talks are held in the picnic shelter throughout the summer. Upcoming talks include: • Thursday, July 12, 6 p.m., Fish our Local Waters, with ODFW fish biologist Gary Vonderohe, who will talk about the habitat and life cycle of local fish populations. • Friday, July 13, 6 p.m., Amazing Adaptations with MeriJane Deuel of Free Flight Bird Rehabilitation and Education Center. The talk features live raptors. Learn about their adaptations to Oregon’s environment and how raptors species differ as well as what all birds have in common.
