A $25,000 cash prize for a hole in one on hole 14 and a chance to try your skill at making the $1 Million Shot are just some of the fun planned for the fifth annual Bandon Golf for Health Classic. The charitable scramble event is set for Saturday, July 21, at Bandon Crossings Golf Course. Presented by Southern Coos Health Foundation, the Bandon Golf for Health Classic is the largest tournament in Bandon and last year raised nearly $22,000 to benefit health care services available to the public at Southern Coos Hospital in Bandon. A few sponsorships remain. Players and sponsors may register at www.bandongolfclassic.org or by calling Southern Coos Health Foundation at 541-329-1040. On Saturday, July 21, player check-in at Bandon Crossings Golf Course will begin at 8:30 a.m. and the driving range will be open. A continental breakfast and a putting contest will precede the 11 a.m. tee off. There will be prizes for a hole in one on any par 3 hole and an ace on No. 14 will make that player $25,000 richer. Those participating also have chances for the shot of a lifetime the $1 Million Shot, payable in a 40year annuity.
