COOS COUNTY Health Department is offering an immunization clinic to childern 18 years and under with no insurance coverage or insurance that does not cover the cost of immunizations may qualify. Bay Area Rotary Club is sponsoring the clinic from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, at the health department, 1975 McPherson in North Bend. Please bring OHP insurance cards to this free clinic.

OSU EXTENSION Master Food Preserver volunteers are proud to help you celebrate Valentine’s Day with a chocolate tasting workshop, “The Sweet Seduction of Chocolate” from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 11, at the Coos County OSU Extension Service office in Myrtle Point. The class will cover the history of chocolate, health benefits and some things to watch out for when buying and consuming chocolate. Then class members will taste a
