For most lay people what’s required is complicated, confusing and also time consuming." “It’s sometimes very difficult for individuals and small businesses to know whether they are being treated fairly or not. Because of my experience and knowledge of this field I can help people get through the bureaucracy and I don’t charge very much. The successful applicants for the roles of Vehicle Mechanic must be able to demonstrate excellent customer liaison and satisfaction skills and have the ability to sell an array of available services. With a flexible and positive approach you should be able to efficiently work under pressure. You should be a keen team player with a focus on providing excellent customers service, good communication, organisational and interpersonal skills. You will need an eye for detail and must be literate and numerate.

ROTARY CLUB OF SOUTHAM TREE OF LIGHT 2005 - 2017
The Rotary Club of Southam wish to thank the people of Southam for their continuing generous support in this our twelth year of the Tree of Light in Southam. In 2017 we raised £2,055.00 for the Acorns Children’s Hospice. Over the last eleven years we have donated over £24,000 to Acorns Hospice from our Tree of Light. Acorns Hospice receives no subsidy from government funds and, at present, is in need of money to continue their excellent service so the help provided by all our supporters will give them encouragement and help in their vital work. Southam Library staff have been extremely helpful to our cause with displaying the Book of Remembrance and receiving donations and thanks to all who helped to distribute our leaflet and collect donations including Southam Carpets, Acorns Hospice Shop and Jacquelines Florists and to those who reproduced it in their local magazines and of course our many generous donors including DSI who have supported us since 2005 and again in 2016 with extra lighting on the tree. A special thanks to Southam Carpets who have supported us for some years but in addition are now providing the power supply for the tree lights. We are also grateful to Southam Christmas Lights Committee for their assistance. We look forward to your help and support in 2018 and hope to meet and exceed our annual target of £1500 once again. Thank you to all who supported Southam & District Lions Christmas Float this year as it toured the district with Father Christmas and his helpers. The response was fantastic! Because of that support, Club President, John Barr, presented two VERY LARGE cheques to the children's charities: Macmillan Cancer Support (Pediatric) and The National Autistic Society. Each charity received £2500! Macmillan representative Nikki James and The National Autistic Society representative Eric Kent gratefully accepted the cheques on behalf of their respective organisations and detailed how the money would be utilised. Also a big thank you to Jaguar Land Rover who provided Father Christmas with a Land Rover Discovery to tow his sleigh.
