ONE DAY FISHING WITH MOTOR SAILER MELTEMI IN THE SARONIC GULF

MELTEMI is a traditional schooner built in 1989 and refurnished in 2008 with an increasing popularity amongst charterers. She is exceptionally popular among those who enjoy leisure sailing and simultaneously require modern facilities below decks. Entering from the stern there is a lovely aft deck with ample space for lounging or al fresco dining. There is also a fully tended outdoor bar. Inside there is a lounge and dining area where all sixteen guests enjoy delightful meals.

Mahogany wood predominates the atmosphere and perfectly matches the tasteful upholstery. Apart from sunbathing in the cushioned fore deck, guests will enjoy excellent service from a crew of five.

•Embark early in the morning from Marina Flisvos Athens and sail to Aegina. •Aegina is the closet island as you depart from Athens and is usually the first or last stop of your trip if you are sailing the Saronic Gulf. The Temple of Aphaia is well worth a visit as it has spectaculr views and the temple is one of the best developed classical temples in Greece. Don't forget to stock up on pistachios as they are produced on the island of Aegina and are probably the best in Greece. On the SW of Aegina is the small fishing village of Perdika. The taverns in Perdika have excellent fresh fish. MONI is a small uninhabited island, opposite Perdika, that is partially wooded. It is a sanctuary for wild life and the sight of peacocks along the beach in the mornings is quite common. A small tavern operates in summer.

•The captain will stop for fishing in special places.

•You will have also the opportunity to swim in one of the beautiful beaches of Aegina, Moni or Klima.

•If you want you can have also free time to visit the island of Aegina.

•You will stop in isolated bays where the crew will prepare a barbeque for you.
