Teacher interviews Ms. Baptist Ms. Baptist has taught at the York School for 7 years. First she taught grade 5 for 5 years, then she had a baby and came back to teach grade 1 as an associate teacher, and lastly she has taught grade 3 since. She loves to read novels and do things outside including: hiking, tennis and just being outside. She has a son who is 2 years old named Bennett. Ms. Baptist and her family are very excited for the holidays, Christmas especially. For the holiday break she will be staying home, exploring her neighborhood and keeping her fingers crossed for snow, even though she loves the beach. Her favourite food is pizza with pineapple and her favorite colour is all shades of blue.
Mr. Daoust Mr. Daoust has taught at the York
school for 4 years, first teaching grades 1-5, then teaching grade 3 for 3 years. He loves horseback riding and he has his own horse named Archie who is 2 and a half years old. Mr. Daoust also loves snowboarding in the winter and goes up to Collingwood as much as he can. A fun fact about him is he can walk on his hands and will do it when students least expect it.

Ms. Moffatt Ms. Moffatt has taught at the York School for 3 years. First as a supply teacher, and then a grade 3 homeroom teacher when the school first went online. She scuba dived with sharks and loves to cook and make things from scratch. She also goes on week long canoe trips. Ms. Moffatt also likes to cross-country ski. She doesn’t have any pets, but always wanted to own a horse because she likes horse-back riding. Her favourite colour is all types of blue. 2021-12-17
Ms. Brown Ms. Brown has taught at the York School for 2 years. The first year she was an associate teacher for grades 3 and 4, and now an associate teacher for grade 3. She likes to paint and swims at beaches and lakes. She also can waterski! Ms. Brown has a dog named Storm who is 7 years old. Her favourite animal is frogs because she loves to catch slimy reptiles or amphibians. She also is a proud aunt because her sister had her first baby. FOURTH EDITION
OH NO around 50 schools have closed down in ontario! But good job York for staying open and of course we all know we are only open because of Santa Claus's magic hat.
