4000 stairlift from Handicare

Launched earlier this year, the Handicare 4000 curved twin-rail system delivers strength and stability whilst enabling tight bends, making it an ideal choice for complex indoor and outdoor stairs.

The standard model has a weight capacity of 136kg, with the HD version up to 160kg. For outdoor use, the 4000 features improved UV-protected upholstery (Smart Slate) with a water-resistant cover (IP44 rated).

New features include an independent OSG, more safety edges, a slow/soft stop feature, a pre-installed footrest (large, small and offset) and fewer stronger stanchions (standard model).

The 4000 is available in a choice of seats, fabric or faux-leather finish upholstery, and black, grey and brown, with options including powered swivel, footrest and hinge.

Harmony FE Home Lift from Terry Lifts

The Harmony FE is a fully enclosed through-floor homelift designed for ease of use and practicality, suiting all needs. Users can travel standing, seated, and independently in a wheelchair, or in a wheelchair together with a carer. There are three models; each can be customised using colour, materials and accessories.

The low cabin floor profile makes for easy wheelchair access while one-touch controls mean there is no need for constant pressure. Harmony FE can carry up to 325kg and travel up to 3.6m between two floors.

The lift maintains fire and smoke protection between the floors, whether it is parked upstairs or downstairs, and complies with BS 5900:2012.
