Susana Soares Saraiva

6 year graduation in architecture at FAUP (faculty of architecture of the university of Porto), Portugal. Thesis on urban history - Portuguese Colonization Patterns. One year post-graduation/researcher in urban studies at Bauhaus Academy, Dessau, Germany. Work developed mainly in Portugal for 10 years, in projects ranging from big scale urban planning, education and restoration to small scale housing and interior refurbishment, in all phases of design. Also engaged in graphic, product and interior design, but specially photography. Experienced in management of projects, clients and creative teams. Currently teaching in architecture studios, architecture graphics, working drawing, climate architecture at the University of Bahrain. Research on subjects related to Housing and the sustainability of buildings and cities in the Middle East.
