Hi Sandra, I started Slimpod on the 16/8/13 and at the time my baseline weight was 18 stone. I have listened to the Slimpod every night since then, I am now 14 stone 8 pounds, so needless to say I’m quite chuffed so far. My target weight is 11 stone, which I hope to achieve by the end of this year. But the biggest change is this is not a diet but an overall change for my health in the long term, so a big thank you.
I went out last night to an all you can eat Chinese, completely paid for drinks and all. Normally this would be licence to eat eat eat! But without even thinking about it I ordered a large bottle of fizzy water, took very small bite size pieces, ate slowly, enjoyed the company and came away feeling satisfied. The really surprising realisation came when I was feeling slightly hungry before bed but I just smiled to myself, brushed my teeth and went to sleep. I love my Slimpod!
cosmicgirlie OMG TWITTER - I’VE FINALLY DONE IT. I’M OFFICIALLY LIGHTER THAN MY PRE-PREG WEIGHT!!!!!! Not been this light since around 2001 @ThinkingSlimmer

Hello - just wanted to say that I have lost my ‘diet head’ after nearly 40 years of trying to diet. I’m a typical dieter. Lose 10% of my body weight then plateau, become disheartened, lose interest and put the weight and more back on. The mainstream diet clubs don’t address the reasons why people overeat, binge and become unhealthily focused on food/eating. Since using the Slimpod as instructed, I have virtually stopped snacking, I eat what I need to and leave what I don’t want. Whereas I was eating food whether I needed it or not because my diet consultant said it was ‘free’, thereby fuelling the cycle of focusing on food and eating for eating’s sake. Goal setting seems pretty easy this time round - walk for 30 minutes every day for the next week, drink 4 pints of water/herbal tea every day today, lose a dress size by 12th February. Successes are great to fill in too and help me focus on how my mindset is changing snacked on a small handful of almonds, walked for 80 minutes, decided how much wine to have and stuck to it then had soda water and lemon. I have ditched the scales and haven’t really bothered to measure myself since I started Slimpod. However, my clothes feel looser, I look a little leaner, I don’t have heartburn and that awful bloated and guilty feeling. Food is firmly at the back of my mind, along with the dieting/weighing in culture, rather than them being my master. - Denise Gray
childcareisfun I thought it was a right load of rubbish - another silly weight con - but I was blown away and still am @ ThinkingSlimmer
I went out last night for my 6 - 8 weekly meal with 3 lovely friends, we always tend to have tapas, in the past I would ALWAYS clear my plate and pick over any food left ............ not last night, I left at least 1/3 of my choice and picked nothing, I just felt full, my friends commented on this thought I wasn’t feeling well!! lol....... what a fantastic feeling, I could hear my full signal whilst out for my fav meal!!! whooppee!! xx
that_nice_woman 4 weeks ago I was wearing size 18 jeans, today I bought a size 14 and they fit perfectly thanks to @ ThinkingSlimmer. I am amazed!
1 - Didn’t stop at Tesco for junk even though I detoured to do it, 2 - Reheated a takeaway from last night and after one mouthful decided I didn’t want it after all and ditched it, 3 - sat and folded all the washing while hubby is on the Xbox because I felt I needed to do something (that’s a first for me I can tell you).
Hi Sandra I’m 4 weeks into using Thinking Slimmer and so far I’ve lost about 4.5 kilos and almost 40cms off various parts of my body! The weight loss itself isn’t dramatic but it’s very positive nonetheless, and my clothes are noticeably looser. I have a lot to lose - around 30kgs more - but I feel more confident than I ever have before that I will achieve this. I’ve been overweight to varying degrees for virtually my whole life. I’ve dieted many times over the years and once managed to lose 3 stone, but the weight always came back eventually. I suppose that I never truly addressed the deeper issues I had with food, and even when losing weight on diets, remained like a ‘fat person’ in my head. Now for the first time in my life I am actually, truly beginning to not just act, but think and feel like a slim, healthy person with a good relationship with food! What has changed is my feelings towards treating food as a ‘fuel’, only eating as much as I need, and above all becoming a person ‘with the power to say no’. This line in the Slimpod has probably had more impact on me than any other since it has enormous resonance for my life as a whole, not just my relationship with food. So in short, I think you have something truly revolutionary in Thinking Slimmer, something absolutely life-changing and life-enhancing. Sandra, thank you, thank you... I am so excited about the future and what it holds for me and my family! - Dee

Had two instances of a Slimpod moment today. 1. It was a colleague’s birthday and she bought us all massive cream cakes. I was busy but when I finally walked past the cake box I glanced in their direction ... I thought oh they look nice... 2. I was on the bus on the way home, someone had bought some chips..I thought they smell nice... What is the Slimpod magic? That’s all I thought! I didn’t want cakes or chips but could appreciate them in another way and then forget about them! ps It did amuse me watching my colleagues’ behaviour around the cake box...I heard ...Oooh I really shouldn’t but they are just toooo nice... ...well that’s my diet gone to pot... ...I’ll start again Monday... ...one of those could feed a family of five....etc etc
Hickoranotron Week one, not one calorie counted and 4 lbs lost. God bless you @ThinkingSlimmer (and where have u been all my life?)
I was a serial scale hopper. I have gone from a size 26/28 to a size 16 in 16 months. I have lost 65 inches. I can walk without feeling like my lungs will collapse. I am happy. I love the skin I’m in even with it stretch marks and faults. I have confidence. Who gives a stuff what number is on the scales. I don’t weigh any more.
I walked past a house with blinds down and noticed my reflection and near enough fell over as I realised I am thinner than I have been in a long time. I’m in size 16 jeans so know I have lost inches but today I think it really struck home how much I have lost and I feel blinking brilliant

Hi Sandra, it must be working as I had a much smaller Christmas dinner than usual and only a mouthful or two of pudding. But more surprising even than that, the bowl of nuts is still nearly full, I only had odd ones occasionally instead of stuffing the lot. I didn’t feel bloated and stayed awake all afternoon and evening. Also had much less to drink than previous Christmases and enjoyed the whole day so much more than usual. Who would have thought that less is better!!!
