International School of Business Established in 2009, ISB Dublin is a young, independent, State-accredited business school. We specialise in offering business undergraduates a study abroad experience in the areas of finance, marketing, sales, management, digital marketing, tourism and event management. We also provide courses in business communications and cultural competence to complete the study abroad experience. Through our partnership with CEA Global Education we also offer US students an exciting study abroad opportunity in Dublin in the areas of international business and liberal arts. ISB is entirely student focused. Class sizes are small and each student receives personalised attention, which ensures maximum potential for success. Programmes are designed to be relevant and up to date. Lecturers are carefully selected not just for their academic ability but also based on their professional experience, which brings the real world of business into the classroom. Academic programmes Academic programmes ISB offers a range of semester programmes specifically designed for the international business student. Each certificate programme is worth 30 ECTS credits.

Entrance requirements All students taking courses at ISB must have completed at least one full year of undergraduate university level studies in a related area and have sufficient competence in English to follow the programme (B2 on the Council of Europe Framework of Languages).

Student life Accommodation ISB actively helps students to source accommodation in Dublin. We provide a detailed guide outlining the following options: 1. Home stays This is the ultimate way of fully immersing in the culture of Ireland and hugely beneficial to improving your English language competence. Families are located in the suburbs and students will commute for 30–45 minutes approximately each way. Accommodation is on a halfboard basis (breakfast and evening meal) and light laundry is also included.

Admission

Visa requirements Students who hold an EU or EEA passport / identity card do not require a visa to study in Ireland. Students are also eligible to work provided they obtain a PPS number on arrival in Dublin. Students from other jurisdictions should contact their local Irish embassy or consulate office to ascertain if they need a visa and if so to make the application at least three months before the start of the programme. A letter of acceptance from ISB is required to apply for a visa.
