Federico Ast, Kleros Federico graduated in economics and philosophy and holds a PhD in management. He is passionate about the use of technology for social innovation. He is founder and CEO of Kleros, a legaltech company using game theory and blockchain technology in dispute resolution.
Daragh Brehony, Pérez-Llorca, Madrid Daragh is an associate in Pérez-Llorca’s litigation and arbitration team in Madrid. He is admitted as a barrister before the Irish Bar and is also admitted to practice in New York and Madrid. Daragh specialises in commercial and investment treaty arbitration, and has particular experience in renewable energy and construction disputes.
Wendy Gonzales, CyberArb & ASUS Wendy is Founder of CyberArb and Disputes and Litigation Counsel at ASUS, as well as its cybersecurity delegate in AMETIC (Association of Technology Companies in Spain).
Hélène Taberlet, LALIVE, Geneva Hélène specialises in international commercial and investment arbitration with a particular focus in the energy sector. She has acted as counsel in a number of arbitrations under the ICC, ICSID and LCIA Rules.

Shane Gibbons, HFW Middle East LLP, Dubai Shane specialises in financial service related disputes and advises banks, (re)insurers, commodity dealers and trading houses on various commercial and regulatory matters. Shane qualified as a solicitor in Ireland and has experience of practicing before the English Courts, DIFC Courts and various institutional arbitration centres.
Nadia Smahi, Bär & Karrer, Geneva Nadia is a Swiss-qualified attorney-at-law. Her practice focuses on counsel work in international and domestic arbitration, as well as cross-border and domestic litigation. She represents clients and acts as secretary to arbitral tribunals in numerous arbitral proceedings, both ad hoc and institutional, in various areas.
Mark McMahon, Stewarts Law LLP, London Mark is a senior associate in the International Arbitration department at Stewarts. Mark specialises in high-value international arbitration disputes, in particular international construction, engineering and energy disputes. He has been involved in proceedings in multiple jurisdictions and has extensive experience in complex cross-border matters.
Kieran John McCarthy, Clifford Chance LLP, London Kieran is a Senior Associate in the International Arbitration Group at Clifford Chance LLP in London, also specialising in International Trade Law and Public International Law.
Aisling Vaughan, Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe, New York Aisling is a member of Orrick's Complex Commercial Litigation team in New York and specialises in US litigation and international commercial arbitration with a particular focus in the financial services sector. She has previously worked in Geneva and has acted as counsel in a number of arbitrations under the ICC, SCC, HKIAC and LCIA Rules.
MODERATOR: Sean McCarthy BL, The Bar of Ireland & ArbTech Sean is an Irish barrister and New York attorney-atlaw. He is a former Deputy Counsel at the ICC Secretariat in Paris, and current ICC YAF Representative. Sean is also a co-founder and administrator of ArbTech, a cross-disciplinary online community, looking at the intersection of law and technology.
MODERATOR: Louise Reilly BL, The Bar of Ireland Louise specialises in sports law and international arbitration. As well as represening clients in regulatory matters she also acts as arbitrator and is a member of the ICSID Panel of Arbitrators in Washington DC, and is the Irish court member of the ICC International Court of Arbitration in Paris. Louise is a committee member of the Bar of Ireland’s Climate Bar Association.
