Duncan Brotherton

I know the origin of name my parents gave me. It was given to me so I could grow up to be a child who can make many friends and fulfill my wishes. I really like my name, and my parents thought a lot about the naming. I have one brother, and my favorite memories are of playing together. Therefore, If I have children, I want to have many. Because my children can help each other even if my future husband and I are gone.

If I will give a name to my child, it will be a name they can be proud of. If my child is a girl, it will be “葵”. The reason is that this flower word stands for ambition and fruitfulness. On the other hands, if my child is a boy, it will be “ 翠”. It stands for having a clear and beautiful heart. However, the name for the child and how they live depends on them. I hope to put my wish in their names, at least.

Each name has a different meaning, and some people think of it no matter what the name is. Children carry their names for the rest of their life, so if I name them myself, I want to think hard about it.
