My first dream, when I was little, was to become a cake shop owner. At first, I didn’t have a concept of working, so I think I said I would become a cake shop owner.

The reason why I wanted to become a cake shop is simply because I liked cakes at that time, and wanted to try making cakes. At that time, I was very happy when a whole cake came out on my birthday. I was wondering why my birthday is a good day when I can eat cake. I think I wanted to make people happy by making cakes that make them happy.

The reason I finally chose to study pharmacy was because I wanted to find a job that would benefit people. I had a vague idea of becoming a medical worker since I was in middle school, but it was around my sophomore year in high school that it changed to become a pharmacist. The reason I chose pharmacist among medical professionals is because I didn’t want to be a doctor or a nurse. I thought that doctors and nurses had more opportunities to see blood than pharmacists. I thought that being a pharmacist (someone who has few chances to see blood and works for people) is a wonderful profession.
