Hanamitsu, Honoka

When I was younger, I wanted to be an ice cream shop clerk. I talked about this dream in my ‘Ichinensei wo Mukaerukai,’ a welcome party for entering elementary school. So, I remember this dream.

I wanted to be an ice cream shop clerk because I love ice cream. My mother tells me “when I gave you ice cream, your mood got better.” I was very pure, so I thought that ice cream shop clerks could eat a lot of ice cream for free. That’s why I wanted to do this job. However, the reality was totally different. When I worked part-time at Italian restaurant that made and sold gelato, I could not eat it. Even now I love ice cream, so I eat it very often. These pictures were all taken by me. Everything was delicious and made me happy. And the Oreo one at the bottom left of the picture was taken in England, so it was very heavy. However, I loved it. Of course, I love other ice cream not shown in the picture here, too.

I chose to study pharmacy in the end because my mother recommended it in order not to be tight on money in the future. Although, I do want to be a good pharmacist when I become one. If I would have had the savings, I could have done anything, for example, be an ice cream shop owner. However, I think I will be a pharmacist and buy many kinds of ice cream. I will go to many places to eat ice cream. I appreciate my mother’s recommendation.
