ENTRY FORMS •  Entry forms must be completed online by the deadline date •  Places are NOT guaranteed for entries submiPed aQer the deadline date •  Your compe33on entry confirma3on will be sent via email upon receipt of your cleared payment •  Entry acknowledges agreement to adhere to the rules and regula3ons •  All entrants must be covered by their own professional insurance covering public liability. www.thisismink.om

REGISTRATION •  Entrants will be given a start 3me of either 10:00am (for morning session) or 1pm (for aQernoon session) •  Entrants must arrive on 3me and are required to sign in at the registra3on desk on arrival •  You must be seated in 3me for the briefing, which will be made about 5 minutes before the scheduled compe33on start 3me •  Once the briefing starts, you will not be allowed to leave the compe33on area apart from a toilet break in excep3onal circumstances •  Anyone arriving aQer the briefing has begun may not be permiPed entry •  Please note entrants must be over 16 years of age. www.thisismink.om

JUDGING PROCESS AND AWARDS CEREMONY (1) •  Models must queue to be formally judged and must remain in the compe33on area un3l all the judging has finished BEFORE leaving the judging area •  The Awards Ceremony will be held at the end of the day •  Serious compe3tors gain valuable advice and feedback from the judges to improve their confidence and technique in both the working and compe33on environment •  In the event of a 3e, the Compe33on Director’s decision is final •  Rules and regula3ons or amendments will remain at the discre3on of the compe33on organisers.

JUDGING PROCESS AND AWARDS CEREMONY (2) •  All entries are accepted with the compe3tor’s agreement of all the rules and regula3ons •  Video footage and photographs may be taken by an official photographer and MiNK reserves the right to use the work on promo3onal materials related to the event and on the MiNK website •  MiNK reserves the right to withdraw the compe33on up to 10 days prior to the compe33on. The organisers will contact you if this happens and you will be en3tled to a full refund of payment. www.thisismink.om

SET-­‐UP, BRIEFING, MODELS AND COMPETITION (1) •  You must set up in plenty of Ime for the briefing! •  Before the briefing, all equipment and personal belongings must be stored neatly under the tables •  Please note that once briefing starts compe3tors will NOT be able to retrieve any items from their bags and belongings and points may be deducted if this happens •  Compe3tors must provide their own: Model, Towels, plas3c bin liner, and materials needed for compe33on •  If a compe3tor cannot provide a model they should no3fy the organisers as models may be provided in excep3onal circumstances. www.thisismink.om

SET-­‐UP, BRIEFING, MODELS AND COMPETITION (2) •  If warm water is required, compe3tors must supply their own in a suitable container such as a flask •  No smoking or ea3ng is allowed during the compe33on or in the compe33on area. Drinking water will be available in the compe33on space •  Compe3tors will be disqualified for mobiles phones that ring, vibrate or are answered during the compe33on, as this is a distrac3on to your fellow compe3tors. You are permiPed to use your mobile phone as a “silent” 3mer •  Once in the compe33on area you are not permiPed to touch or prepare the model un3l the compe33on has started •  Judging will be concluded at the end of the day. If any compe3tor is pregnant or has a medical condi3on or special need that would make this difficult, please inform the compe33on staff at the registra3on desk •  Compe3tors must be aware that judges will be observing working prac3ces. Marks will be awarded for hygiene, 3diness and personal presenta3on.

AT THE END OF THE COMPETITION •  At the conclusion of the compe33on, compe3tors MUST leave the compe33on area un3l permiPed to return by compe33on staff •  Please take your personal belongings with you, such as handbags, as the organisers are not held responsible for these items at any 3me •  The compe33on staff will inform you when you are allowed to pack your kit away and once the models are lined up for judging. Note: this may be later in the day •  All kits must be packed away and removed in 3me for the awards ceremony. www.thisismink.om

Theme •  The theme of this year’s compe33on is “Colour blocking and Solid Neons” •  Use your crea3vity and ar3st eye to come up with a look that is inspired and unique.
