Give Cancer the Cold Shoulder at Camelback Mountain Resort ! Camelback Mountain Resort, in partnership with the American Cancer Society, will host the country’s first Relay For Life Snowtube-AThon on Saturday and Sunday, March 8 and 9. Themed Give Cancer the Cold Shoulder, this all-night event will begin at 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 8 and continue until 6 a.m. on Sunday, March 9. All are welcome to hit the hills of the Biggest Snowtubing Park in the U.S.A. and slide in support of the Relay For Life! Three-hour snowtubing sessions are available at 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. and a six-hour Midnight Madness session will be open from 12 a.m. to 6 a.m. Tickets for all time slots are $20. Interested parties may register a Relay For Life team, or support the cause by purchasing individual tickets to tube. Participants are encouraged to camp out overnight and take turns tubing as special events, entertainment, contests and giveaways go on throughout the night. In celebration of its 50th Anniversary Season, Camelback will light up the mountain at 8:30 p.m. with a fireworks show. Because cancer never sleeps, teams are asked to have at least one member tubing at all times. Participants are also encouraged to get in the spirit by dressing and decorating their vehicles to reflect a winter wonderland theme. At Relay For Life events across the globe, communities come together to honor cancer survivors, remember lost loved ones, and fight back against the disease. Camelback’s SnowtubeA-Thon will include a traditional Luminaria Ceremony of remembrance and hope in honor of those who have battled or are currently battling cancer. Camelback Mountain Resort presents the country’s first Snowtube-A-Thon as part of its 50th Anniversary Season—a season of giving back. Up to 50% of ticket proceeds from this event will go directly to the Relay For Life. To make a donation, register a team, or learn more about how you can Give Cancer the Cold Shoulder, visit www.skicamelback.com. Home to the Biggest Snowtubing Park in the U.S.A., Camelback Mountain Resort is located on Camelback Road in Tannersville.
