This Week’s Fun Fact comes from Rick Bodenschatz with the Historical Association of Tobyhanna Township. Did you know... On June 21, 1779 during the Revolutionary War; 3800 continental soldiers marched through Tobyhanna Township on their way to Wilkes-Barre and upstate New York. With them were over 800 cattle, hundreds of horses and wagons loaded with supplies and artillery. This was known as Sullivan’s March.
