The Pocono State Craft Festival Returns

The 27th annual Pocono State Craft Festival will take place on Saturday and Sunday, August 24 & 25 at Quiet Valley Living Historical Farm in Stroudsburg. Goods, Games & Garlic at Shawnee Mountain It’s a legendary local favorite with a kick! The 19th annual Pocono Garlic Festival will take root at the Shawnee Mountain Ski Area on Saturday, August 31 and Sunday, September 1. Featuring a variety of goods, games, music and more, this year’s festival is bursting with garlic-themed fun for everyone! In addition to the dazzling dishes, there will be live entertainment on two outdoor stages, a children’s activity area and an education tent. This year’s event will also feature artisan demonstrations, strolling entertainers, garlicgrowing seminars, wildlife presentations and two rounds of the now-famous Garlic Eating Contest. Festival hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the gate. Parking is free. For more information and a complete schedule of events, visit www.poconogarlic.com or call (570) 421-7231. Shawnee Mountain Ski Area is located off I-80 on Hollow Road in Shawnee-on-Delaware.
