As such, this winter hotspot inevitably serves as host to an equally abundant collection of professionals; adding experience to planning an exceptional day on the slopes. Mal Law of Starting Gate Action Sports welcomes the opportunity to dish out a little Ski Prep 101. Just minutes away from Shawnee Mountain, SGAS, a full service action sports shop celebrating “selling fun for 40 years,” not only considers itself a one-stop-shop for equipment like skis, snowboards and apparel, including rentals; but is the go-to for guidance. Suggesting a visit to the rental area to “try out” a set of “sliders,” is tops in Law’s list of equipment commandments before investing. Calling it an “easy way to ski” he

hat makes Ehrhardt’s Waterfront Restaurant one of the region’s top spots to muster up some holiday spirit? Is it their menu? Perhaps, it’s their fun atmosphere with live bands belting out weekend rock and classic rock tunes? Calling the Hawley destination, “The perfect spot to warm the spirits and fill the belly this holiday season,” Ehrhardt’s Sarah O’Fee suggests a visit along your Hawley Winterfest rounds December 12 to 14 to judge for yourself. Commenting, “They [Ehrhardt’s Waterfront Resort] are very excited to be a part of Hawley Winterfest,” she adds an invitation to “Put on your Winter Beer’d that weekend and come out for a fun night!” A top spot on the Beer Tour, they’ve thrown in a complimentary Beer Tasting Saturday 12/13 with 3 Guys & a Beer’d Brewery. A look beyond Winterfest places the popular eatery at the forefront of travel treats for all as they take pride in offering a variety of affordable and delicious options ranging from steaks and seafood to wraps and burgers. Closing with, “[There’s] something for everyone,” O’Fee includes, “Ehrhardt’s is a great place to stop in for a bite, a live performance, or a few laughs!”
