For my grid, I wanted a very accessible, versatile and adaptable grid. I felt I could not effectively use a theme from the book in my grid as almost every shape in space is circular, there are no thing tangible to create a grid with. I opted for an 8 row x 8 column grid as its ease of use I feel would work perfectly for a lot of centered work I would be using.

-11I chose the font Diamonds as I feel its geometric, edgy look had always made me reminisce of the solar system and space, also I feel it harks references to sci-fi. Despite being quite bold and a statement font it is also very legible. Although the font has more abstract letter forms, it also contains more traditional letterforms you can choose from to keep a healthy balance.

Black
c=0 m=0 y=0 k=0 Black was an obvious choice for this book as it is based around the stars and space, where its iconic colour and its trademark is its dark unknown. I feel the entire book in mostly black and white is the most effective way to communicate the vast, dark, unknown quantity of space.

Golden
c=0 m=24 y=89 k=8 This is the only colour I will be using, it will be used as an accessory and highlight colour, bring attention to a piece of information or creating a break in the back as a full black and white book may feel taxing on the eyes.
