TERRAIN TAMER’S STATE-OF-THE ART NEW FACILITY HAS A SURPRISE OR TWO WAITING IN THE SHOWROOM

RECENTLY, we had the pleasure of attending the opening of Terrain Tamer’s brand-new, purpose-built warehouse and showroom, located in Sydney’s Marsden Park This is the first time Terrain Tamer has built a facility from scratch, to better suit the needs of the business and its customers, with the process taking five years from idea to reality, according to general manager Brent Hutchison.

On the evening of the opening, you could see how proud Terrain Tamer staff were of this new building, with state manager Terry Cheal describing it as The Hilton And I can see why, it’s not only a massive leap forward in siz e, but being a new building, they were able to create a neat and practical facility that the company can g row in to, as well as a state-of-theart showroom facility for customers to experience This isn’t your average parts shop, that is for sure

As soon as you walk through the large glass doors, you are g reeted by a 40m painting by indigenous artist Kurun Warun, better known as Tio, titled Dry Water. This oneoff commission tells the story of Terrain Tamer’s journey over its lengthy history It features a series of waterholes, as when you are travelling you need to know where you can find water on your journey. The Terrain Tamer team tells us you need to know where to find parts when exploring the country – this is a really classy touch.

The other exciting news from the evening was announced by off-road icon, John Rooth, who said he wouldn’t have a career if it wasn’t for Terrain Tamer keeping his equally iconic 40 Series LandCruisers going over the years Roothy handed over the keys to his vehicle, known as Milo 2, to Brent from Terrain Tamer, and this vehicle will now live in the new Sydney showroom for all to see It’s worth a trip down just to have a look at this modified 40 Series LandCruiser that has travelled all over the country. For those in Sydney, looking for fourwheel drive parts and accessories, or if you want to check out Milo 2 in the flesh, you can visit this excellent new facility at 5 Ultimo Place, Marsden Park, NSW.
