ELL, WE DID IT. For

Wthe fi rst time ever in my lifetime, we traveled fi ve days over four states covering nearly 2,000 miles on the Hot Rod Power Tour. It was quite the experience, and we learned a lot about ourselves and our trucks. We met some amazing people along the way, and we’re proud to say that the American automotive enthusiast lifestyle is alive and well throughout the east. Flip over to page 86 to see our coverage from this cool event, and fi nd out if our Chevy Squarebody completed the competition.

In this book, we also highlight a new event for our audience, Mother Road Mayhem. It was a fun event that brought out a bunch of great looking rides that we haven’t seen in the past. Six separate feature trucks are on center stage in this September issue, including the remarkable Seton you saw on the cover. We know you all like tech, so we stuff ed three separate installations throughout the next 120 pages that should motivate you to start wrenching on your ride—all new Squarebody interior with a cool plaid design, some mini-truck upgrades to project Lucid Dreams, and a complete build breakdown on our charity project for Mission 22 known as Sergeant Square. Still not enough? Read about the top 10 LS questions we found on the web, which our expert answers with great detail. Finally, I’ll look into the future with some electrical vehicle swaps that still don’t have mainstream support.

It’s a great issue that we will be one for the record books, and without a doubt a front runner for truck of the year. How’s your project going? We would love to know. Send us an email and let’s chat!
