2 Ferry back in time
Check out the historic McLure Ferry which has been crossing the river at McLure for over 100 years, one of only a few reaction ferries still operating in B.C. In 2003 the heroic efforts of the McLure Ferry and its crew were instrumental in moving firefighting crews and equipment to contain a firestorm when all other access roads into the area were blocked by wildfire.
