ANTENN A & BROADCAST IN G SUPPO R T SE RV I CES

Most broadcasting antennas in cities are installed on buildings. We work with broadcasters and building owners to develop safe and economical plans to mount antennas and related equipment on buildings of all ages, types and sizes.

Design Standards & Requirements Our experience has yielded a deep understanding of the interrelated structural requirements for mounting antennas on buildings. We are adept in applying the nuances of the ANSI/TIA-222 standard for antenna loading and mount design, and are well versed in the building codes that govern structural design for broadcast installations.

Understanding of All Antenna Types Broadcasting equipment, especially antennas, has specific requirements and limitations for construction and maintenance. Our extensive portfolio has provided in-depth knowledge of most equipment types, as well as an understanding of the specialized needs and preferences of many TV and radio broadcasting companies.

Antenna Manufacturer Collaboration We coordinate with antenna manufacturers from start to finish. This is essential to optimizing mounting systems and designing structural reinforcement best suited to the selected antenna and the supporting building’s structural system. This approach prevents broadcasting performance from being diminished by structural constraints.

Wind Consultant Coordination

On some projects, a wind consultant can be critical to understanding antenna and building behavior in high wind events. We work collaboratively with these experts, providing complete structural information for wind studies and effectively applying the results to our structural designs.
