We provided building analytics and LEED certification consulting for the San Francisco Public Safety Building, which combined renovation of a historic fire station with newbuilding construction. The project met the city’s green building ordinance, gained LEED Gold certification and met additional resiliency goals.

This approach allows us not only to optimize operational and energy budgets but also consider other regional and global environmental impacts. COMFORT SOLUTIONS THROUGH ARCHITECTURE We use building-science expertise and data-driven strategies to develop architectural solutions that help our clients achieve high-performance, low-energy buildings. We recommend project-specific options for attaining occupant comfort while minimizing building loads and operating costs. CERTIFICATION PIONEERS With our 25-year history in green building certification, we’ve been involved since the beginning. Our sustainability specialists were involved in the creation and evolution of the LEED rating system and continue to implement new and exciting green building certifications such as Living Building Challenge, Passive House, and WELL Building Standard. Our practice leaders are sought-after educators on building certification, and we are a USGBC Education Partner.
