MOVEMENT EX BIOGRAPHY by Andy Kellman

Los Angeles' Movement EX lasted long enough to release one powerful album of Five Percent Nation-inspired themes. The self-titled album, recorded while both members were teens & released in 1990 on Columbia, failed to make much of an impact on the hip hop world, but it held its own when compared to other confrontational and politically charged album from Paris, X-Clan, and Lakim Shabazz. The duo consisted of MC Lord Mustafa Hasan Ma'd and DJ King Born Khaaliq. They apparently parted ways after that.

MOVEMENT EX

"My work for Movement Ex kept me in the system so that I'm always able to come out and say, 'Hey, I got some new stuff,' and it always makes sense - I ain't just some old dude rappin', I have a track record," he says "So I appreciate the Movement Ex project for that much. It was rooted enough to keep me around to this day.“ – Lord Mustafa

TABERNACLE MCz The Apostle, Sweet Daddy Grace a.k.a Born Allah, is already a legend indelibly etched in the tablets of the underground Hip Hop scrolls. Daddy Grace formed his choppy self assured style as a member of Columbia recording duo, Movement EX alongside legendary DJ King Born. Born Allah started his West Coast domination as one of the many infamous miccontrollers from LA's world renowned Good Life Cafe. He is one of the forefathers of distinctive rhyme delivery and has crafted many adapted and badly imitated style structures alongside such underground notables as "Freestyle Fellowship", 2000 Crows to name a few. Panama Redd also known as Deacon Dwindle Duckets came into the game straight from Central America hence the regionally inclined moniker. Hip hop became his new infatuation. When asked when he started his career as an emcee, he expressed that he had been a Bboy all of his life. He decided around the age of thirteen to actually put pen to paper and begin to build bars strategically and methodically. It was at this time that he also became a Left Coast representative. He crewed up with Funky Dialect which later became the multitentacled monster known as 2000 Crows. His affiliation with that conglomerate led him to the world famous Project Blowed, which is the offspring of The Good Life CafĂŠ. The breeding ground for all things underground and organically Hip Hop in the early Nineties. Shaheid, has been the spook who sat by the door in the L.A. underground scene as far back as the Good Life CafĂŠ in the nineties and began to blossem as an artist during the glory days of Project Blowed. Growing up in Hawthorne he got the Knowledge of Self in his late teens and raised in the teachings of the 5% by Born Allah & the First Born of Los Angeles. So it only made perfect sense that he would be one of the first to hear the testimony of the New Gospel of Hip Hop like John heard the testimony of Christ in Revelations Chapter 1, verse 9.

THE CHURCH OF HIP HOP THE CHURCH OF HIP HOP AND FINANCIAL PROSPERITY IS ABOUT RESURRECTING THE B-BOY AND REINVENTING HIP HOP WHILE MAINTAINING ITS PURITY, AND GETTING MUTHA F%@IN MONEY The Church of Hip Hop & Financial Prosperity internalizes this, and proclaims that if in the beginning was the word, that the word had to be uttered by a M.C.; that the Supreme Being is the ultimate Master of Ceremony. The Aquarian Gospel

They also teach that God gave his only begotten son "The B-Boy“ who performed the miracles that is known today as the four elements of hip hop: Graffiti, Break-Dancing, DJ’ing, and MC’ing.

These Prophets and Messengers of Hip Hop feel that they have been brought forth to reveal to the world that the B-Boy has been crucified by poor talented rappers, who have long lost the true meaning of the art form. The Church of Hip Hop & Financial Prosperity presents‌

HARDCORE RIGHTEOUSNESS Popular L.A. underground MC Born Allah returns back to form with his new single, "Hardcore Righteousness (Who is Allah's Five Percent?)". Dedicated to Father Allah & his Five Percent Nation. Born Allah goes hard on this V-Kush produced beat. This new single is a throwback, reminiscent of the golden era of hip hop when the hardcore righteous bars of Brand Nubian, Poor Righteous Teachers & Rakim were the norm. The song is accompanied by a powerful video from the RCKLSS ABNDN production team and features classic pictures and footage of Allah, the founder of the 5% Nation and his early followers. In the song Born Allah gives his harsh opinion of Jay-Z wearing the Universal Flag (recognized worldwide as a symbol of the 5% Nation) and the infamous moment when he passed the chain on to Jay Electronica at the Brooklyn Hip Hop festival in 2014. The song & video is a great ode to a period in Hip Hop when rappers had more on their minds than strippers and the trap.
