ell Spring is definitely here, the sun’s hanging around longer, and we know you’re itching to get riding… if you haven’t already! There are so many events happening around our great state that you won’t have a problem finding something to do. Spring has sprung and there are events galore! Be sure and check out this issue from cover to cover because it is full of big events you don’t want to miss. If you’re looking for something special to do Memorial Day weekend you should consider attending the 21st Annual Smoky Mountain Thunder Memorial Ride in Sevierville, TN on the 30th. If you’ve never attended this event you don’t know what you’re missing, it is amazing! Thousands of bikes gather at the Courthouse in downtown Sevierville for the opening ceremony at 10am. This year’s theme is “Remembering All Those Who Gave”. The ceremony consists of Patriotic singing, guest speakers, placing a wreath at the Veteran’s Monument and Taps marks the beginning of the event. The police escorted 65 mile ride leaves, rain or shine, at 11am. There are NO FEES for this ride! Once all of the motorcycles have arrived at Veteran’s Overlook on top of Clinch Mountain, the closing ceremony begins. Patriotic music, placing of the wreath, 21 Gun Salute followed by Taps concludes the event. Come early and have coffee and breakfast at Graze Burgers beginning at 8am. This is one of the greatest tributes to our Fallen Military, so come join us to remember those who paid the Ultimate Price for our Freedom! Also, you don’t want to miss Tennessee Motorcycles and Music Revival, May 20th23rd at Loretta Lynn’s 3,500 acre ranch in Hurricane Mills, TN! This is a kick-ass fourday event with something for everyone. It’s all about motorcycles, music, comradely and the outdoors. Ride on some of the great roads in middle and west TN, or you can bring an off road bike and ride the legendary trails at the ranch. Hang out with musicians, custom builders and industry leaders at the event. Camp under the stars in your own tent or bring your RV, Glamping tents and RV rentals are also available. Centrally located off of Tennessee’s Music Highway (I-40) known as the most musically influenced road on the planet connecting Memphis and Nashville. This is Tennessee’s Ultimate Motorcycle and Music Event!
