n early 2017, we started hearing about a new rally coming to Tennessee. We met with the organizers and immediately knew this rally was going to be big. The first year in the fall of 2017 the attendance was good and when the rally was over we knew it was just going to get bigger. 2018 and 2019 were also in the fall and both years were bigger, 2019 was probably even double the first year. For 2020 everyone was on lockdown or some type of restriction so there was no rally and the organizers decided that the off year was a good time to move the dates to the spring.
There are a lot of rallies in the fall so the decision to move the dates to the weekend before the Memorial Day weekend was an easy one, and a good one. The event started on Thursday May 20th and ran through Sunday the 23rd, and over those 4 days, well over 13,000 people passed through the gates. Way more than double 2019. With the laid back atmosphere provided in part by being on Loretta Lynn’s Ranch in Hurricane Mills TN, mixed with good ole southern hospitality, it’s hard to not have a good time.
