the story Gentle ascending correlates with the current feminist movement. It portrays the epitome of the women in the 21st century. The main image of our trend is the spiral wooden staircase that continues to ascend. This depicts women in the workplace who is striving to break through the glass ceiling. They are the ones we believe to be our target market for Nosbyn’s premium collection. Why staircase? A staircase is connected with the vertical movement. It symbolizes the transition from one existence to another form or the breakthrough to another level. Stair is often used in art to establish hierarchy. Thus, in modern days, we often say “moving up the ladder” to express a successful career mark. And in our main image, the leading up stair showcases the bravery and courage that we imagine the targeted Nosbyn’s women possess.
Our spiral staircase represents the journey to success in life is not always smooth. In order to move up and go forward, the modern women need to have harmonious characteristics - a balance of gentleness and persistence in life. This notion will be illustrated in our trend through a well-balanced combination of straight lines and curves. The material for the staircase is Wood. In architecture, Wood serves as an excellent insulation material providing warmth for building in cold weather and vice versa. Due to its flexible characteristics, it reflects the attributes of the modern Vietnamese women who have to be versatile and resourceful to harmonize all roles in their lives. Therefore, wood is implemented as the main neutral colors that runs through our collection.
